Normally I would totally agree! I just got through to an actual person, she told me that my build has been completed and I will have a delivery date within the next 4-5 days. She also stated that estimated time for delivery from MI to MS via convoy is around 2 1/2 weeks. Trying not to get too excited but that is more detail than I have received in months! She gave me a number to contact with any questions and said it is the bronco detail line so for everyone wanting to sit and listen to some bad elevator music for a few minutes to hopefully get some new details.....800-334-4375.
after seeing your post, I decided to call in. It really is a crap shoot to what info you are going to get from Ford. I hesitate to even post this, the lady was so nice, but I don’t think she had a clue. Here were the main talking points to our conversation:
- me: I had a build date of 2/7 wanted to check on it. Her response: all I see is it is ā€œat the plantā€ nothing on 2/7, it actually says 1/31 (which was my original build week before the website updated a while back)

- me: cool, so if the plant is up and running again should I see some movement or an update soon? Her response: I think the plant is still shut down, it was for 2 weeks, I saw that on the news

-me: ok, well does that mean I will be near the front whenever they start up again? Her response: it depends on dealer allocation, they look at what is being built and try to make sure it is spread evenly so one dealer doesn’t have more from an order than others. Then it won’t be until after it is built when you find out if it is being held for chips or not…

At that point, I just thanked her for her time and said goodnight. Her answers were so far out in left field I didn’t know what to do. I’m pretty sure the plant is running again, I’m pretty sure since I have a window sticker, the production line runs by those numbers at the top. I have no data on the chip issue. So Im just going to wait like before and pretend I never called in tonight. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I have a window sticker too, which says 2/7 blend date. But it was clear we know more than the lady I was talking to.

Do y'all think ours will sit or just get built and shipped since they have all the parts?

Or will they head out to ice mountain?

Many people in the 1/31 build week thread are getting shipped right after getting built this week, but that by no means is guaranteed for us next week.
I have 25 years in aerospace/defense manufacturing and my guess would be that Ford would want to keep the flow of new trucks completing final QC and then shipping ASAP as opposed to sending them to ice mountain so that previous builds can get cleared. This opinion assumes all parts are on hand and ready for assembly.

Glad I found my 02/07 peeps. I actually work at a dealership and Ford doesn't give us much more info than what I find on here. 02/09 blend date 43/1102 with 4117 (sounds like this is my spot in line?) number above it. I was hoping that someone with our build week had taken delivery

yeah yeah... you're right.... It's absurd though, right?!
Very, I work at one of the good dealerships and we are super proactive about contact. We call and tell them a scheduled week, then we switch the date, then build date, delivery date...oops, your January date just got bumped to April. It makes us seem like idiots

Based on the 1/31 build week thread, It looks like the plant is working on finishing up the 2/3 scheduled dates today, the 2/3 had a bunch scheduled so I’m not sure if there are any that were originally scheduled for 2/4 or not. That said, I’m a 2/9 as well and my guess is they will build the 2/9's either next Tuesday or Wednesday depending on whether or not there are 2/4's scheduled.

I actually saw some people saying they had blend dates of 2/5 so it looks like they schedule builds for Saturdays too. I would assume 2/4 and 2/5 have builds scheduled.

Thanks, good explanation.

That is a bit of what I thought which is why I am glad that we did not have completed builds at the shut down. I am hoping that we get that quick full build and ship. I am only 300 miles form MAP and am hoping for a quick ship. But I am learning to not have to much hope in this ordering process.

Can confirm that they schedule for Saturdays. Was originally a 2/5 build before getting bumped to 2/7.
