It really isn't forgetting to order the parts.

The suppliers are having major problems getting parts from their suppliers thus impacting the OEM.

I work for a supplier and can tell you this isn't a lack of planning or anything like that....

The supply chain and shipping channels are sooooo fragile... one hiccup and the whole house comes down.

I work in IT and I have equipment I ordered last November that isn't expected to get to me until October of this year.

Oh yes, I understand. I was just joking. My company is a vendor for Ford and I have intimate knowledge of the supply chain constraints.

I got this email from Ford today so it might be time to start believing that my Bronco could be here soon. 3/29 blend date, 255/2018. It’s time for me to order wheels and tires as this does not have Sasquatch. I’m considering Method 703 with 285-75R17’s. I’m also thinking about the top from Bestop.

My daughter said this is just a cruel April Fool’s joke from Ford, lol.

I am a whole 300 ahead of you and still show in production…hope that isn’t a bad sign for me

Well people 300-400 behind me (in the 700s, I am 355) are getting built status and emails. Starting to get a bit worried. Modules popped yesterday early morning but nothing since.

I had a nightmare yesterday about being in the dealership and being asked to pay more vs. MSRP, to be honest, I believe that I bought too many parts in advance already without getting my keys.

I hope that they honor the price from my order back on Dec 2021 and worse case that will come in a rebate check from Ford, I guess we'll all know soon what the final price will be, if they ask over MSRP, I'll walk away and have some parts to sell here ;-)

anyhow modules info pop out this morning, hopefully, the status will change to build soon.
Are we expecting some electronic parts to not come?

Why not have the discussion with your dealer now? Do you have a written agreement on price?

Ford will not be issuing any rebate checks post sale.

Any price protection from MY21 to MY22 should be done at time of sale.

Scratch that... Day shift got sent home.

No idea about nights or Saturday yet....

Everyone can stop refreshing the trackers for a bit

I will not say the job so I can't get blamed if something is wrong when people get their trucks LOL

It appears they may be re-starting the main system shortly.

Talked to the insurance company this morning. Found it pretty interesting that a Jeep is one of the cheapest vehicles to insure, at least according to my agent. About $250 more per year for the Bronco.

Shipping is a different animal all-together.

Once the truck is built and released to the shipper it is out of Ford's hands.

Even with production not running doesn't mean vehicles aren't being repaired.

Like I mentioned in another post.... there are people working 12 hour shifts... 7 days a week doing things other than main production.

Is the shipping dept closed to? Mine is built and awaiting shipping...
