BAM!!!!!!
Just installed it using the jack method. I propped it up on 2 4x4s on each side then jacked it up in to place so I could get a couple of bolts started. The ratchet straps at either end were money.
I also installed the transfer case, engine, and front bash plates. Because I only have...
Has anyone installed the OEM Bash plate on the gas tank. It looks like you have to drop the tank by first removing the original straps, then lifting the tank in the skid and remount it.
Any tips or advise is greatly appreciated. I do not have a lift so I will have to install with the vehicle...
I just used Forscan to correct the circumference for my new 33s. I measured the tire at the center and came up with 102.5 (2603 mm). I had the PCM relearn, the AWD relearn, but I also see an ABS error. After I disconnected the OBS and started the vehicle the check engine light disappeared.

So If the price is the same to install coil overs vs spacers what would you recommend from 4Wp that would keep the job under $2k (If possible)? Looking at no more than 2"
I really wish I had the tools and confidence to take on a coil over project on all 4 corners. I got a quote from 4WP to install leveling spacers and they quoted $400 front and $400 rear for labor not including parts.
So I decided to start with new wheels and 33x10.5 17 tires + just bought the complete Ford Skid set. I will have to mod the front since I don't have the modular bumper that is fits with. Looks like I will be cutting some steel.
Hi everyone - I am looking for folks with similar rig to provide input for boosting capability of this version. For reference I sold my 2010 Jeep Sport (2.5" lift, 33s, on 3.73 gearing, no lockers) to get a bronco. I was part of a jeep club years ago and did quite a bit of off-roading in the...
In your experience what is the general parts list and cost to regear a Bronco with 3.73. I have done the research and can't find one instance of anyone saying they actually did it. Others say the cost is too outrageous (How much?).
Thanks for the feedback. I will likely get a 2" coilover lift. How much gas mileage and performance issues have you noticed with the 35s.
All in all would you go 35s again or stick with 33s. Im close to a decision point here.
Thanks.
I have a Big Bend (Not BD or SAS) with 3.73s. Do you still agree that 35s (lighter tire) will perform well. How do they do off road? Been pondering if I should go with 33s" instead.
