  1. Ohio Sold: Sasquatch Silver Trim Rings (5)

Set of 5 Sasquatch trim rings. I thought about powdercoating these either black or in carbonized gray, but my original silver ones are growing on me. Bought these from another bronco owner, they appear to be in mint condition. Price: $400 takes all 5. I can ship on your dime if needed...
  2. Powder Coating Options (Cosmetic Changes)

did you sandblast them first? I'm planning to do the same, trying to determine if I need to go as far as stripping down the factory coating first. looks great, i'm planning a similar color!
  3. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

I agree. I'm getting too old for the 'car stereo' yoga where you contort your back in the driver side footwell to get the d*mn power wire through the firewall. It took me at least 10 tires and every knuckle i've got is skinned :)
  4. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

Thanks for the ideas. I think I'm having the same issue. Just chatted with Joe @ PNP (outstanding service once again!) and he recommended adding a 'load resistor' to tell the sub that there is a constant load. As he explained it, it's similar to the load button on the Key200. I'm going to...
  5. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

So i've run the DSP. The sound is pretty good.. here are my observations so far: I can't turn the gains up on the Key200 w/out hitting the protection (amber lights and slight clipping) on songs w/ low bass. Not Dr. Dre style bass songs, but songs that hit low. I'm good keeping the gains...
  6. Base Sound System Upgrade/Build

I went with the same amp, speakers in the dash + rear pods and went with 6.75" KS in the kick panels. I'm pretty sure the rear speakers are still locked out, simply based on the amount of movement from front vs. rear on the same song. the fronts + kick panels really respond to the lower...
  7. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

Just got my 6 speakers and Key200.4 installed tonight into my 2dr Basequatch. Similar experience as everyone else.. the stock system was worse than almost every Ford I've owned for the last 25+ years. All I could hear were the front 4" speakers and it sounded like an AM radio when i turned...
  8. Touch Screen Freezing

Thanks for the tip. Mine just froze up on the Android auto screen tonight (3rd day driving, just hit 300 miles). I shut my bronco off, came back out, and it reconnected and still frozen. got to my destination, shut it off and my phone off this time (to force disconnect). restarted and it...
  9. More OEM Splash Guard installed details

You technically can..and the extra piece will allow it to slide off easier, but I doubt the clips will stay very tight for long if removed often. I don't plan on removing mine until Ford comes out with a proper molded Sasquatch flare and then they'll be on long term. I've had similar...
  10. More OEM Splash Guard installed details

Yep. It goes through the hole in the flap and presses it against the the painted fender flare lip. You can always put a piece of backing behind it if you didn't want to scratch/expose the paint. For instance, I cut a square chunk out of the plastic (that I cut out for the sasquatch flares)...
  11. 4 Pin harness wiring sanity check

So I'm pretty sure I've read all of the required threads for wiring up the ford 4 pin module (FT1Z15A416A). Just need a few quick sanity check items from those that have done it already. I have a base 2 door with halogen lights. I bought the ford receiver (already installed) and the ford...
  12. Rusting accessory bolts

Mine were doing the same, rusted at pickup. It wasn't worth the gas to drive back to the dealer.. I ended up sandblasting mine and putting them in with a batch of powder coating I did over the weekend. It won't take much to rattle-can them as well. If you go to the hardware store, good luck...
  13. Road trip gone bad; broken windshield, broken window regulator

I was all-in on Dynoflex this weekend until I read you can get a year or two at best "if you don't use your wipers". Unless you really keep it polished and use silicone wiper blades, you're going to end up with wiper brush marks. Seems it's meant for supercars that don't really see any rain...
  14. Cracked Windshield

I almost had stek dynoflex installed on my windshield ($450) this weekend while getting PPF installed. Unsure about ruining wiper blades, but from what i've read if you use your wipers, you will likely end up with wiper marks in it within a year or two. I'm rolling the dice now, but passed...
  15. Product idea for 2 doors - storage solution like the cargo drawer

Thanks for the pics and inspiration. The new carpet looks like a near identical match to the back seat (unless you covered the seats?) Where did you find that? I was just thinking about making something similar the other day to hide my sound ordnance b-8ptd sub that I picked up. I was going...
  16. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

So you're saying Joe from PNP is wiring all of the bronco harnesses to run all 4 channels (plus both sub channels if applicable) off the front channel coming out of the factory head unit? I've talked to him a few times and he didn't mention this. I assumed the piggyback harness was a 1-1 match...
  17. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

Yep, that's what I assumed as well. I'm waiting on my harness from PnP as well. Assuming you don't want to hack up a custom harness, you're going to have to either unlock via forscan or crank up the gain? But I'm still skeptical cranking up the gain will do anything but make it "louder"...you...
  18. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

This seems counterintuitive. Wouldn't you want to remove the ford dsp via forscan before amplifying the sound? Simply cranking up the gain would likely increase the distortion unless you have a clean/full range of sound that you're sending the amp?
  19. Super clean Front and Rear door pocket solution!

Do the front holders fit the 2 door versions the same?
  20. Testing of the Front Hood Lift Supports and Front Door Storage Organizer Box is complete, head to Amazon now!

I'm interested in a set for the 2-door bronco as well. I find it odd that Ford made the side pockets sized differently for 2 door vs. 4 door. I get the door sizes are different, but it'd make more sense to keep the pockets the same to combine parts.
