  1. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

It was stated in a Q&A that the Badlands and Sasquatch were the same exact suspension just the Sasquatch has some larger bump stops that limit up travel by 10mm (most likely for rubbing). The cost upgrade for the badlands to go to Sasquatch is literally wheels and tires.
  2. 2023 Bronco Raptor further confirmed by Ford engineer profile

Grab a 2021, do minor mods, and when the raptor version comes out trade it in. The raptor version will end up holding value so much better it would be worth the upgrade.
  3. Everyone is happy about the frameless doors, and I dont know if we should be

Build an L bracket with a front lip out of some soft wood and wrap that in some batting and vinyl and lag bolt those into the studs in the garage. Could even have the doors stand vertically to save on some space possibly.
  4. Everyone is happy about the frameless doors, and I dont know if we should be

Fuckin’ hood whistles. I’m going to borrow that ?
  5. Bronco bottle opener has been located

My wife got so mad when I started using my gold ring as a bottle opener. She quickly purchased an inexpensive titanium one for weekend tailgates so I wouldn’t mess up my “good” ring ? Also, we have been provided a bottle opener for years on vehicles. Open up your car door. Look at the latch...
  6. Anyone else thinking of ceramic coating their new Bronco?

Absolutely not ceramic coating an off-road vehicle. The problem with ceramic coating a vehicle that is going to get trail applied pin-striping is that now it is exponentially more difficult for a DIY person to buff out the surface pin-striping/imperfections. Contrary to popular belief, ceramic...
  7. Explain your choice. Tell us what model you chose and why!

4 Door Badlands, 2.7, lux, hard-top. Daily driver plus off-road fun. The Sasquatch and Badlands have the same exact suspension so I don’t see the point in paying for essentially wheels and tires. Pretty sure on the way home from the dealership I’ll be stopping by Discount Tire to throw 37’s on...
  8. Sasquatch for daily driver?

4 door for sure. Similar in length to the SCAB Raptor (133” wheelbase vs 116”) so it should handle rough terrain like whoops relatively well. Albeit, not at the same speed of my Raptor lol. I don’t plan on tackling MOAB or Rubicon really - more so terrain like I have tackled in the Raptor. This...
  9. Sasquatch for daily driver?

I have no doubt it will be comfortable. Cadillac or Lincoln comfortable? No. But it will be as comfortable or more so than any standard SUV. Now...for being quiet? Not a chance in hell lmao
  10. Fox suspension testing on the Bronco rumor

From what I understand, being part of SEMA will get most members the CAD files to vehicles the manufacturers want aftermarket parts made for. They don’t give the full CAD files, but they’ll give the files like the front clip, or front frame and suspension, or rear frame and suspension. Allows...
  11. Lightweight Overlanding Camper/trailers ideal for BRONCO

No, it should pull it fine. You just only have 600lbs for water and gear. After water, you’re at about 480lbs of gear in the trailer.
  12. Baja Mode

I don’t think anybody knows for sure just yet and we are all making assumptions based off of the only other vehicle with drive modes - the Raptor. In the Raptor, you can switch to Sport and engage 4WD or switch to Baja and then disengage 4WD and put it back in 2WD. Edit: Going Sport to Baja...
  13. Baja Mode

I don’t have a Gen 2 Raptor, but if it’s anything like Off-Road Mode in the Gen 1, and from what I’ve read, it is, the problem is it keeps the RPM’s at basically redline for as long as possible. Let off the gas? Keeps the transmission in gear for an extended period of time. It is assuming you...
  14. Official Area 51 vs Antimatter Blue Ford Bronco Paint Color Samples - inside, sun, shade

I think we’re confusing matte with flat. I don’t mind a gloss clearcoat. What I don’t want is glitter/flake/bedazzling/whatever you want to call it, in the paint. I want a flat color with a standard clear coat. Hopefully that makes more sense. Because you’re right, matte or satin topcoat is a...
  15. So who’s doing Rock Lights?

I was thinking about that but was also thinking how the top might pinch a wire going over the top. Does anybody know how the Jeep guys route wiring that’s over the windshield?
  16. So who’s doing Rock Lights?

What the raptor guys have done is run the power wire in the gap between the windshield and a pillar and then use a black silicone over the top of it to keep it in place. The aux switches will most likely NOT be connected to power anything at delivery. You will have to connect the wires that pass...
  17. Official Area 51 vs Antimatter Blue Ford Bronco Paint Color Samples - inside, sun, shade

If I wanted glitter paint I’d go buy a bass boat...
  18. Ford Employee Roundup Bronco Event Pics

I think the white top looks more retro. It will be cooler in the summer, especially in Texas. I’m tired of the “murdered out” look where everything has to be black - it just looks childish to me. The more subtle colors and the white top make it look less like a Jeep from the back and side too...
  19. Official Area 51 vs Antimatter Blue Ford Bronco Paint Color Samples - inside, sun, shade

I’ve been torn from the jump between Cactus Gray and Area 51. I would love to see those side by side. The Jerry can picture made the CG look like a shiny primer. I like flat paint better than flake, but primer gray isn’t what I’m going for.
  20. Official Area 51 vs Antimatter Blue Ford Bronco Paint Color Samples - inside, sun, shade

I’m not getting AM Blue, and this is the reason I’m not picking it. Probably one of my favorite color options, but a dark blue is almost as bad as a black vehicle. Shows all the dirt and scratches and would drive me nuts. My wife had a Kona Blue Edge and it was gorgeous when it was clean but it...
