Issue with this scenario is that by only converting 18 of 60 reservations, they risk Ford cutting their final allocation number. They’re incentivized to convert as many reservations as possible to maximize their final allocation number.
Say that you have a day 1 reservation that’s #45/60 allocations at dealer X. Another person has a late day 2 reservation that’s #10/40 allocations at dealer Y. You both order the exact same Bronco build. Does Ford prioritize the time stamp or the position in the dealer allocation? Who gets...
Unless you’re getting a manual, don’t take the bait and go for the 2.3 just to up your odds of a quicker delivery. You’ll regret it in the long run and it probably won’t be that much of a determining factor when it’s all said and done. Suckers bet!
When Ford first announced the delay earlier this month, they also said “Initial 21MY dealer allocation forecasts will now be provided in early January (ahead of the order bank open).” If Granger or Stephens end up with a low percentage compared to their reservations, you’ll still be able to move...
I typically love BFG KOs, but every time I see the BL with the upgraded rims and Goodyears, they look so much beefier than the standard rim, BFG combo. I don’t want to pay the extra $1700 but it looks so much better to me.
Like a lot of you, I’ve been going back and forth on whether or not to Squatch my BL. This pic finally settled it for me. I’m going with the upgraded rims, but no Squatch.
I’m pretty much set on 4-door Badsquatch with the 2.7 and High package. Still on the fence with color. I’m leaning Cactus Grey, but wife and kids like Area 51. Hopefully seeing it on the Sport will help.
