The only notable thing during break in was my bite point became less on/off feeling, if that makes sense. But I think that was just normal clutch bedding. Hasn't changed in over 27k miles. The goop is normal, it's slathered on from the factory.
Are your brake reservoir levels good? The bronco...
Same as many on here, the only thing that would sway me is a MT+5.0 v8 option.
Even then, I would probably keep my 2022 just because it's been so fun and I got it at the "grandfathered" 2021 pricing. Just recently wheeled it through some 105*F high desert trails and it didn't skip a beat.
Love the eruption green and MT (y)
You can fit 33's (285/70/17) on a stock big bend with zero mods needed. I think even as high as a 34" (285/75/17) but others may be able to confirm. Here's mine on 33's below, for reference.
No, never got it looked at. Still running fine to this day, never made a grinding noise or other issue.
Noticed that 3rd gear just needs a more assertive shift than others (not to the point where you get that forced double-click feedback through the shifter). It mainly happens if I "limp wrist"...
Most likely the wastegate doing its thing.

Scroll down to post 14 for a video. Is it this noise?
As far as the clicking noise, also just the normal BPV click that all 2.3's have.
What a bummer. Glad everyone was alright, which is what matters the most. For a data point, I was rear ended in 2023 at approx 20 mph with some damage: tailgate buckled, spare wheel scuffed up, spare tire carrier buckled, rear bumper cracked, driver's side tow hook crushed, cargo floor slightly...
3 years, 30k miles. Mine has been great. A few early model year gremlins like the headlight switch, but that was easily fixed with a $60 part and 5 mins of my time. Occasional snyc bugs, but nothing a reset didn't fix. 2.3 and manual transmission has been flawless so far. Great MPG and engaging...
Summed up the issue perfectly, great graphics too.
Adding weather stripping to the corners of the top (sunrider in my case) also helped seal off the secondary sections from 85% of water flow. I haven't experienced a leak ever since doing that.
I hear ya, 3 days after I picked my bronco up, I went camping with some buddies. Loaded a bunch of firewood in the back, and ended up scuffing the hell out of the rear plastic. 3 years later and a replacement tailgate from being rear ended by an uninsured driver, it's all part of the experience.
Have you checked the wire harness running around the driveshaft area? Not sure why it wouldn't surface until your mileage but maybe worth crawling under to check?

When you replaced the clutch spring, did you re-apply grease? I noticed my factory clutch spring was slathered in it, to the point where it smeared on my work boots a few times lol. Perhaps it's a grease thing?
I've had a pair of the revised 3 ton HF jack stands that haven't given me any issues / felt sketchy. That said, I prefer my redundancies and keep a few extra frame points supported along with a wheel wedged underneath the frame.
