    Partridge would be correct here
  2. Anyone use the one pedal trail control feature ?

awesome for bird hunting--set at 3 mph and just crawl
  3. Why 4A is your Ford's friend

Goat mode and 4A --two things that I would never have paid for if there were any way to avoid it. Seems to me that if you are not sure if you need to be in 4WD or how to drive through "Mud/Ruts" maybe you shouldn't be.
  4. 2024 Wildtrak. Seems like a good deal?

I would say typical pricing--at least around here https://www.wiscassetford.com/searchnew.aspx?ModelAndTrim=Bronco:Wildtrak&st=Year+asc
  5. Bronco vs. F150

Get both--works for everything. My F-150 does the bulk of the work and I save the truck by only using the Bronco for off road.
  6. Bronco Down! Rear Ended While Parked in Driveway, Rear Frame Damaged - She's Totaled

worst part of the hole deal will be the diminished value should you ever try to trade or sell out right. CarFax is good for the buyer--bad for the seller--lol
  7. What do you guys think about the “Everglades”?

For the 2.3 haters-- I can say from experience while your in 4WD Low with the lockers locker it's really hard to tell the difference between the 2.7 and the 2.3. Pretty sure no one is gonna pull you over in the next mud hole looking to see what you have under the hood. On the highway you'll...
  8. My rant: Who Cares About Powertrains?

agreed on that --correctly stated I should have said gm/chrysler/amc motors powering a ford trans mission to dana axle.--- My point was that this practice of having mixed manufacturers using outsourced drive train parts is not a new concept. I believe the message here is that the buying public...
  9. My rant: Who Cares About Powertrains?

The AMC dealer lots have become Ford lots now--until 2025 the 2.3 ecoboost was originally made in Spain (ohio now) derived from Mazda L-3, bolted to a 10 speed auto made as a joint GM ford venture and powering Dana differentials. Not much has really change.
  10. My rant: Who Cares About Powertrains?

Don't really see this as any big deal. Back in the day of AMC you could get a ford motor hooked up to a Chevy transmission with Chrysler (dana) differentials and transfer case. this is not a new idea--been done in the past
  11. Best 35s? I'm a girl that drives gravel/pavement 50/50 lol

On the bronco I run Cooper STT Pro's-- on the F-150 Cooper ST Maxx's are the best 10 ply AT tire I have run
  12. Would I be dumb to trade-in a 2dr Heritage instead of selling it?

it's only worth what someone will pay for it--regardless of what KBB or dealer trade in is. The only way to know is put some feelers out and see what the true value is--and the dealer maybe lower but don't forget to factor in the sales tax savings and the ease of making the deal. If you have...
  13. The BEST Ford Bronco - EVERGLADES

I almost didn't get the EG because I wanted the 2.7 as well--- but I can confirm in 4WD low with the lockers locked there is no noticeable difference between the 4 and the 6
  14. The BEST Ford Bronco - EVERGLADES

if you plan on using your bronco primarily off road it is hard to find a more complete better factory offering--- hence why I have one.
  15. 2025 SAS Package Tires - Goodyear Wrangle R/T Inquiry

the best thing to do with the SAS stock Goodyear MT's is to get a credit from the dealer and have them swapped for some real tires before you take delivery--
  16. Higher octane, better gas mileage......

so let's do the math here-- if there is any improvement in MPG --which has been stated to be minimum at best-- and 87 octane is recommended--87 is 75 cents a gallon cheaper than super or ethanol free -- gas is $3.00 a gallon for regular-- you would need to see a 25% increase in fuel economy for...
  17. EPA to end Auto Start/Stop on cars!

It does amuse me a bit that people get worked up about the ASS. Let's face it Ford first started using the technology in 2012 model year on cars and SUV's. It is not like the technology is new or unproven-- and yes it has proven to save fuel. Additionally there were other changes were made...
  18. How much off-pavement duty does your Bronco see?

It is my side by side ATV-- and its road legal
  19. Admit it, your rig is a "mall crawler"...

Here is a shot of me at the mall--this store specializes in wild blue berries and raspberries. A couple more shots of me driving to the meat store where they specialize in deer and partridge
  20. Begging Ford for the 5.0

There's a reason Fords top tow package in the F-150 has a 3.5 ecoboost and not a 5.0 coyote Not that the 5.0 is bad--and old school thoughts of "no replacing cubic inches" is not good in theory but the benefits of the V-6 in daily driving will eventually cause the demise of the V-8...
