Who is going to make pieces to replace the colored dash vent "chiclets"? I know there are some versions that clip over them, but I'm looking for an OEM like version to replace the colored ones. I'm sure there are a lot of people that want to get rid of them.

It provides a clean signal to go into an aftermarket amp. You still need to buy the amp on top of that.
