I don’t know. Never really looked at the halos. They work, but I only cared about the overall brightness, because I found the stock LEDs to be quite inadequate.
I wired mine like Bellime said in post 44 (thanks Bellime!)
1). the green and white from the KIA Mirror need to end up connecting to the bronco harness white.
2) KIA Mirror gray needs to connect to the Bronco harness green/black.
3) black to black
I was able to program the 1st two openers by...
I just installed mine. I programmed my 3 garage doors and calibrated the compass. Everything works, and the mirror looks OEM. It’s pretty ridiculous that this mirror wasn’t standard from FORD. Thanks for all the help here!
Maybe I’ve gotten used to it, but the wind noise really isn’t that bad and it doesn’t bother me much. But sure, I’d prefer a quieter ride. That being said, I already own two convertibles and have zero interest in removing the top from my Bronco, so if Ford made a fixed-roof version, I’d probably...
I ripped my 450+ CD collection onto a tiny thumb drive. It has been working great in my Badlands. I also love the voice command access. I just say, "Browse The Cure" for example, and all my Cure Albums are listed. Then I just touch the one I want. (I wish the voice command worked in my Porsche!)...
Dealer by me has had 7 Broncos sitting on his lot for 2 months. I drive by every day and not one has moved. They are still asking ADM. I bought mine from them for MSRP. I think they are dreaming that anyone is still going to pay ADM...
My dealer has 6 new Broncos sitting on the lot and one used 22. They’ve been there a while…
If they are still asking ADM, they are going to sit there for a long time. The time of ADM should be long over.
I drove about 2 hours and even activated the windshield washer and it hasn't returned yet, but I think that must be it. I won't be able to check it for a week. But thanks everyone for the advice (and jokes). It was a serious question.
Ha, I only Photoshopped in the Porsches. They don’t really exist!
But I bet it’s this. I installed the Morimoto headlights a month or so ago. There is a washer hose that has to be disconnected. Perhaps I didn’t reconnect that all the way. I know I connected it, but maybe I didn’t click it fully...
I agree it's strange. Maybe a nocturnal emission given the company! :-) I cleaned it off. I'll be driving 2 hours tonight. I'll see if it comes back. (Maybe change the second to last word to the 3 letter version! Haha, such dirty minds...)
Here's a photo from 3 days ago. I noticed it when I was processing the photo. I wiped it off, and it's back almost exactly as it was. Perhaps it was from the wash and the Bronco wasn't completely dry??? I'll wipe it off again and see it it reappears.
I noticed this white crusty stuff. It looks like dried salt water. I originally figured it was a dead bug or bird poop, but I cleaned it off and it returned. Any ideas?
It’s literally a 5-10 minute fix if you want to do it yourself. Just pop off the plastic covers around the tow hooks, and you’ll see the bolts that hold the bumper on. Loosen them, adjust the bumper, and retighten. Mine was off too, so I fixed it as described.
You’re right! I have the high package. So maybe it does help quite a bit. Thanks! I didn’t realize i already had an underhood pad, but I just looked. I’ve had the hood open many times, but never paid attention to the underside!
It’s funny because I was really expecting the road and wind noise of my Bronco to be an annoyance, but it really isn’t. I’m 64 years old and have always had a sports car since I was 17 (always with stock exhaust system, since I hate overly loud vehicles) so my “normal“ certainly isn’t tomb...
