Sorry this happened but as someone else mentioned I'd just look at this as an opportunity to upgrade!
I know its not even close to the same but....the tops of my doors are scratched to hell, all the windows are caked in nose art, the interior plastics have deep nail marks, and there is hair...
I hate to say it but its not just Ford. Service standards are rough all over. I'm not trying to be a Ford apologist so no need to rip my arms off its just my opinion.
I'm sure someone will come along in a minute and tell you that their Tacoma never breaks down...but that one time it did (not...
Not afraid to admit that I absolutely love the interior. However I can't get over the flares...outside of that (and I'm not trying to start this whole argument again I promise) but if it had 2 less doors I'd certainly have one.
Gross. I've yet to see a Raptor that looks good. Also, painting the trim around the grill makes it look like it says "EOBD." I feel like its making a bizarre face at me. The whole thing makes me feel uneasy.
My "built" to "shipped" timeline was very similar to yours. It shipped and none of the trackers nor my dealer knew where it was for months. 4 months after the apparent "shipped" date it unexpectedly showed up at the dealership caked in mud.
Don't give up yet!
This is EXACTLY what I was hoping. A hard top option that is "semi" permanent. If I could remove all 3 windows and a larger section of the roof there really isn't a point to take the entire clamshell off. Thank you for posting the youtube vids, I'm checking those out now.
Even just removing...
Had no idea this existed but it looks fantastic. Would definitely need the waterproof liner for it and all in that would be $300.
Kind of pricey but if someone here was able to provide some positive feedback I'd probably be a buyer.
They claim it is completely modular and customizable and was hoping to be able to option something close to Ford's MOD top.
I'd give them all the money for some removeable or sliding rear side windows and a gunner's hatch.
I'm asking myself half these questions as well, haha! Wish they would join so we could get some clarification.
I'm interested but no way am I going to drop $7,500 without more info.
So it appears this finally launched. Some great ideas here. It appears the 2 top pieces of the 2 door allow for a larger open air experience without having to remove the whole rear clam shell.
The rear side windows have a "gull wing" function. Would really be interested if they could be...
Completely understand! it would drive me nuts having to sign in every time. Oddly enough it made me sign in twice the first time I launched it but haven't had to do it since.
Hope it gets sorted out for you!
