Looking to buy a set (5) of Badlands takeoffs if anyone has them. Just want the non-option regular wheels, preferably with the stock K02's if they're low mileage/good condition but will take worn/no tires as well. Located in NW Indiana, can travel a reasonable amount to meetup to exchange.
Way too high. They overinflate them from the factory so they don't get flat spots if they have to sit for a while, you should def air down to recommended factory spec. You'll get a much harsher ride, less traction, and uneven treadwear.
Yeah, that was my point haha. The wireless pad Ford used is garbage and won't charge a phone if its using AA or CP. idk why Ford skimped on such cheap part, but seems like that kinda thing is par for the course with them.
I was curious if the top was off because I've had my phone shut off...
Oh ok. NVM then. I've had my phone charging outside before in the sun on a boat and it overheated and shut off. I thought maybe yours was charging and in the sun or something, but sounds like a different issue.
Where was I making excuses for Ford? I just said the wireless charging pad they used is weak and won't charge your phone when connected to AA/CP. That's not an excuse for Ford, just stating a fact so OP doesn't assume that pad is going to charge anything when connected. Also, you can disable...
The wireless charging pad will not charge your phone enough to use Carplay/android auto, period. That app is very very battery intensive, you need to plug in wired to charge if you plan on using carplay long term. The wireless charging pad is just to maintain/slowly charge your phone when not...
We're a one car family (just us and a dog, no kids) and our OBX does everything we need it to. Other than the rear of the softtop being kind of annoying when loading stuff in the back, and lower MPG, I really don't see how a 4 door Bronco is any less practical than any other SUV of a comparable...
I'm very happy with the 2.7l, but after driving a 2.3l loaner for a couple days, I'd also be happy with that as well. I thought it was more than enough power off the line. Not as smooth feeling though.
Ah yes, the inevitable response from @Ford Motor Company pretending like they're going to actually try to help. OP, please post a screeshot of FMC's response after they "look into these soft top concerns for you."
I live in Chicago and it seems like I pass 8-10 Wranglers every time I get in my Bronco. All but one of them have every done anything, and the one that did gave me the peace sign....so...idk.
