I’ve had my big bend mid since February and put about 7k on it since then. My infotainment system has been 99% bug free in this time. Over the past couple weeks I’ve gotten a handful of software updates and am now on 2.3.1.
Bugs/issues I’ve noticed only since getting these recent updates:

Is it the whole hood moving up and down or just the skin flexing?
Mine is separating from the frame and fluttering at freeway speeds. Ford is replacing it under warranty.

Hard to tell from the video but are you seeing the hood move up and down near the trail sights? That’s not right. I’d double check your latch and hood stops.
Mine doesn’t move near the edges, it’s just the actual hood skin flexing up and down near the center.
Just noticed this after 5k miles. Not sure what to call the actual trim piece but I’m missing all three screws out of it on the drivers side. Looks like they secure the trim piece near the taillight as well. It’s most likely been that way since delivery, I doubt all three worked their way out...
Update:
Got approved for a new hood. It’s on order but has to be sent to a body shop for paint match and alignment, so hopefully just another few weeks for a resolution.
Waiting to hear back from the dealership on what ford wants to do about it. They got an estimate from their body shop for $2500 to re seal the hood (which seems crazy high to me). So it’s up to ford now whether they want to do that or replace the hood. I’m hoping they just replace the hood...
Dropped it off yesterday. They are taking it to a body shop today to see if they can adhere the two pieces of the hood back together. If they deem that can’t be done then they will order a new hood from ford. Every tech and service writer that looked at it agreed that it was probably due to the...
Ive seen other threads mentioning the bug deflector causing it. I’m just wondering if it’s from the air hitting the top of the hood and pressing it down or if it’s the air entering the engine bay in a weird way. Wonder if different grill designs have a different effect.
Either way the center...
On yours is it mainly in the middle in front of the hump/bulge but you can see the bulge moving up and down with it? I see you have lux, have you checked under the hood sound deadening to see how your foam looks?
Mine goes in on Thursday and I’m going out of my way to take it to the dealer I...
Just thought I’d post an update. I’ve experimented with the backing rod in several spots and haven’t noticed a difference. The hood seal with fuel line behind it doesn’t make a difference for the flutter but it did take care of a strong whistle I had coming from the front. I have some dash cam...
So I got this stuff in and put it in as many places as I could. It was pretty difficult to work into the honeycomb. I didn’t notice much improvement and when I checked the next day most pieces were loose so I took some out that weren’t doing anything and doubled up some other spots.
How much...
Well to be fair, this is the full size bronco forum. They are overlooking the “sport” part of your title. The bronco sport has its own dedicated forum. Try there.
Update 4/27: approved for a new hood from ford.
I’ve searched for this topic and saw some older threads discussing it but no real solutions.
4dr big bend mid 2.3 non sas. I get significant hood flutter(up and down movement) at freeway speeds. Usually starts around 65 mph and gets much worse...
