  1. $8/mo for connected Nav is too much.

Y'know, the other thing that puzzles me about this (the cost for Ford Connected Nav), is that for all other aspects of how Ford packages the Bronco, they can be irritatingly good and forcing some of us to buy higher level packages to get features we want. For me as an example, I wanted the...
  2. $8/mo for connected Nav is too much.

Ahhh, the beloved Ford Country Squire station wagon, The 70s on-road vacation vehicle :) Ours had the faux wood side panels. Many a summer vacation across the western US in that car!
  3. We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

Lots of little things but the most annoying by far is not having a proper handbrake for a manual transmission. Going back and forth between my Bronco and my BMW still messes me up after 4 years (and 40 years of muscle memory reaching for a parking brake for all 3 manual transmission vehicles I...
  4. Is there one "best" ASS Eliminator? There are several on Amazon at different pricepoints

Is there a general consensus for the best ASS Eliminator to buy? I see several on Amazon. This is for a 22 BL. Not sure if any of the Ford updates have made some of the ASS Eliminators obsolete.
  5. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

That is a serious test of the durability of the MIC top. Seems so odd for there to be such "hit and miss" on these tops. There has to be a common denominator as to what tops show cracks (and so quickly) vs. others that have no damage at all.
  6. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

2022 4-door Badlands. 50/50 for inside/outside parking. No cracks but my center section was replaced under warranty for warping during year 3. I take off the front and center panels a lot during the summer. Never take off the rear clamshell.
  7. AIGMUX | Bronco Trunk Light: Brighten Your Adventure

I would love something like this but I have the M2M flip down attic which will probably block 90% of the light based on where it mounted in your pictures.
  8. Ford charging 20k for a MIC hardtop outside 3/36k warranty

I had my center section replaced under warranty for warping as well. It was (thankfully) under the original factory warranty at the time. They probably wouldn't do jack now that I am outside the 3/36,000 period.
  9. First real warranty claim on 2022 Bronco

haha. Well that throws a wrench into my logic. The person I was replying to was comparing 2 Fords with fully framed doors. If you have a Mustang that never has a problem with the "window drop down", I don't know what to tell you, unless it has something to do with the logic on a Bronco door that...
  10. Bronco Sales Up 19.4% in January 2026

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the government should "pick" winners or losers. I am all for capitalism and free markets. The only difference in this situation is that aside from the climate benefits (and yes, I know we are raping the environment to get rare earth minerals to make the...
  11. First real warranty claim on 2022 Bronco

in my opinion, it has something to do with the frameless windows. The Maverick and bronco sport have framed doors, so the window does not have to drop a half inch or so to clear the rubber seal at the top of the door. There is something about the logic control that gets jumbled up for some...
  12. First real warranty claim on 2022 Bronco

Dang, sorry to hear that. As a long-time employee of the semiconductor and electronics industry I feel ya. They do a decent job of "guard-banding" electronics but occasionaly you can get a confluence of factors that really make things go wonky electronically and they are a major PITA to...
  13. First real warranty claim on 2022 Bronco

Hell, I am resetting my windows and radio at least once a week! But there is nothing Ford can do fix those issues and it is simple to resolve on our own. Those are "software bugs" IMO. As long as they don't leave me stranded somewhere, I can live with them. I don't like them, but I can live...
  14. Bronco Sales Up 19.4% in January 2026

100%. Just think about all the "groups" of people that will never get EV due to infrastructure. People in rural Montana, Wyoming etc. There is just no way they are going to swap out the ease of gassing up their F-150s for having to "plan and navigate" to find a charging station in BFE...
  15. Bronco Sales Up 19.4% in January 2026

Can't believe the Bronco is 2x the sales volume of the Expedition! I would have thought it would be the other way around. As for the EVs, multiple things can be true at the same time. There are people that want them, and without incentives people on the fence take a pass. Range anxiety and EASE...
  16. First real warranty claim on 2022 Bronco

So my Bronco is nearing 4 years of age (Mar 22 build), and finally had it's first "real" warranty claim. It has had many recalls (7 and counting I think...) , and a center MIC panel replacement (but the entire MIC roof is just a train wreck for Ford/Webasto so I put that in a different bucket)...
  17. What did you drive before your Bronco?

2004 BMW 330i. Still have it. Will not sell it ever. It will co-exist with my Bronco Here it is sporting its square winter wheels
  18. Roof Rack storage configurations - what's yours?

Where is the kitchen sink? 🤣🤣🤣
  19. So many posts about MIC tops with stress cracks, anyone out there have an older Bronco without cracks?

March 2022. No cracks, but I did have my center section (4 door) replaced due to "warpage". The replacement center panel has no cracks either. 38K miles, 50/50 outdoor/garage, has been offroad (but no rock crawling) and has seen sub-zero temps. Seems to be hit and miss on the MIC cracking. I...
