    I would think that since it is a retooling shutdown, it would only effect the line being retooled. Other activities such as shipping should not be impacted (other than fewer vehicles to process).

    I have a couple of questions to those knowledgeable in F’s mfg process. We will receive a “blend” date on the WS. The components of the truck (body, engine, etc.) are therefore in production in advance of the blend date. When do they begin building components? I assume they are built in...

    I have a 7/13/20 reservation and still waiting for a firm date. This week I have been told 6/27, 6/28 a couple of times and earlier today 6/30. I am very happy for all who have locked into the production schedule, at the same time it is frustrating to still be in the shifting sands.

    I suspect that the members of Ford’s production scheduling team have a liquid lunch, read this forum, say “watch this” to each other, change build dates then giggle like schoolgirls.

    I am still targeted for 6/28 but no WS. It seems that Ford treats us BL buyers as the red-headed stepchildren of the Bronco family. (No offense meant to any red-headed stepchildren out there.)
