  1. Will Bronco Fatigue Cost Ford Reservations?

Fatigue? On the coolest truck released in decades? Never! Maybe excitement increasing to maximum levels causing a lack of sleep and an overthinking of all possibilities making you think it's fatigue. I doubt there would be many dealers upset about reservations dropping. The would get...
  2. All Colors Rendered on 4 Door Bronco with White Tops

"Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black." - Henry Ford (1909)
  3. Build & Price Configurator for 2021 Bronco Goes Live in August

If Ford is calling June 2021 as Spring 2021, I am guessling they can call September as August.
  4. Comparison: Cactus Gray vs. Toyota Cement Gray

If Cactus Grey is a more of a green than grey like some of these picks then I am going to need to cross it off my list. I think it looks bad in the pic you posted but has looked good in other pics (more muted and not as green). If I can't see color in person before ordering I will go back to...
  5. Where are you in the reservation line?

Not sure of my place, I started the reservation process about 3 seconds after launch and finished it around 4 hours later.
  6. 2021 Bronco factory steel bumper converts to a Stubby Bumper for off-roading

To remove that piece, you can either use the included wrench tool set or a nearby boulder as you squeeze by.
  7. Some Bronco branded merchandise released by Ford

It looks like trinkets Ford HR had left over from a team building event. It's the stuff people left behind in the conference room.
  8. 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands (4-door) vs Geländewagen (G-Wagon)

If I could afford it I would get the G-Wagon in a second. Good offroader, Built like a tank, Luxury Interior, Looks good in rap videos. For Country videos, go with the Bronco.
  9. Factory Wheel Options

I think they are basically the same general design except the ‘beauty ring’ is more of a grey color on the optional Badlands and a black color on the Snatchcrotches. Edit; the spokes also look more plain/flat on the Badlands version
  10. ford nailed the look of bronco. land rover chit the bed with the defender

My Defender 110 SE build (6 cyl) is around $71k (before tax) and I would consider comparable to my 4dr Badlands which will probably come in over $60k (with no sasquatch). The Defender is better/nicer in some areas and the Bronco others. For my needs the Defender is a better fit but a little...
  11. [Latest Update: See Post #335] Ford Revises Bronco Reservation FAQ -- You Now Can Only Change Your Dealer At Time Of Final Order.

Ford will say technically they are still in line with original terms. They might claim, originally and currently, you you can change dealers, but they didn't say you could keep you place in line. I think that line of argument should calm reservation holders...not.
  12. ford nailed the look of bronco. land rover chit the bed with the defender

I have looked at the new Defender as well. I believe it looks much better in person than in pics. My main concern was the front view that looks weak in pics but ok in person. I do hate the cheap plastic pieces on the hood. The drive train , mechanicals and overall capabilites are nice. I...
  13. [Latest Update: See Post #335] Ford Revises Bronco Reservation FAQ -- You Now Can Only Change Your Dealer At Time Of Final Order.

Cant u create a second ford account with a different email but same name? I have two accounts with two separate emails.
  14. [Latest Update: See Post #335] Ford Revises Bronco Reservation FAQ -- You Now Can Only Change Your Dealer At Time Of Final Order.

At this point I would not cancel any reservations in case things change again and to keep leverage. I would place a second order at another dealer and keep the first. And maybe more than two. It will still allow for negotiation. Then if a dealer tries to charge a markup or has high fees...
  15. Anyone still on the fence without knowing final price and test driving?

I am not on the fence about a reservation because for $100 refundable I made two at different dealers. But I am beginning to hesitate about ordering because with the Badlands and estimated option cost (my swag) I am pushing $60k. Plus without driving it will be tough to order. I am starting...
  16. V8 Jeep Wrangler production prototype spied testing

Lipstick on in a pig. I guess squeezing in a bigger engine costs Jeep less than actually designing a better vehicle. Maybe I'll just stick a "V8" badge on the back of the Bronco, no one whould know better. But I do hope for a 2.7 tune package from Ford Performance when the Bronco is launched.
  17. That horrendous "sport" bar and b pillar on the 2 door.

I know what you are saying regarding a center crossbar must be stronger than none, but I am sure Ford engineered the entire structure to survive a rollover (at least to the same extent as the Wrangler). I had a JKU about 10 years ago and hated that center cross bar. It made the interior feel...
  18. That horrendous "sport" bar and b pillar on the 2 door.

Those homemade roll cages don't appear to be working.
  19. First Edition Bronco bumped up to 7,000 production limit!

I believe that body color, white top and white grill combination is part of the "Unobtanium Package". It also comes with a white dash. The pre-production code name was "one-off preview". Honestly, no one knows for sure but it sounds like it is not coming to production, initially at least...
  20. First Edition Bronco bumped up to 7,000 production limit!

I plan on the Badlands but I may buy a First Edition badge off ebay and do a badge swap. Like the people that buy a Wrangler Sport and put the Rubicon stickers on the hood. ;)
