We confirmed yesterday with our Fox rep that there were quite a few changes made to these shocks since those few sets went out a year ago. Honestly at this point we would just be assuming unless we had your old shocks in hand and compared every detail. Changes included spring rates, valving and...
Yes, we have that tune pretty dialed in now. Will need to swap piston in the rear, but similar to what we offer for other OEM Kings. Shoot over a message if you have any other questions
I'm going to get yelled at for saying this, but we did get our first batch of Fox in this week. So I can confirm Fox is getting their first set of production shocks out to dealers who ordered them first, at least thats what we're told. We should be getting some hands on tuning later this month...
I wouldn't blow this up as if you were deceived or sold something that was not supposed to be sold. Those shocks are obviously legitimate. As for preload, these shocks are designed to be adjusted so you wouldn't be damaging them. Heavier spring rate may have been needed for your setup. Looks...
Well you clearly say in all caps to not waste your time or money with Fox. I was curious where you got these shocks because they have still yet to release their first production batch to the public. Only a hand full of influencers got their hands on a set. There have been several changes in...
Ok, I'll play.
-How did you get an opportunity to get set of Fox shocks for this Bronco? You said you have been running those shocks for about a year now? Thats quite a while
-What made you decide to ditch those shocks and get these Falcon shocks?
-How many miles do you have on these Falcon...
Intervals above are pretty accurate. I would expect 50k miles with normal street use. Cost will range depending on condition. If its just seals and oil, maybe $175-200/each. Not a bad idea to keep your old shocks as a temporary replacement whiles shocks get rebuilt.
90 degree bend shouldn't really be an issue, the UCA doesn't see near the forces the lower control arm does. Its probably plenty strong, just not sure on quality as mentioned above
