Yea i looked on the infotainment screen again, nothing to change and also i didn't see any Forscan options to do it, bummer i like having it on the Ranger, oh well life goes on haha.
Oops my bad  I have it, that's what happens when i looked last evening getting dark and i didn't see very well, but yea its there, i also have the roof deadening material too, overall i can't complain theres a bit of wind noise at highway but not an issue for me.
Actually interesting you brought that up i really needed it yesterday in traffic and it didn't hold, i was on a flat road not sure if that matters.
Iv'e made a bunch of Forscan changes have to get my list out and see if i did that one, or is it changeable on the info screen, haha i don't...
Anyone with a '25 notice this on your windshield? Although mine doesn't have it, it's being shown on this BB (maybe pre production model) @ 14.15 on the video.
That was my thinking also when it wasn't showing after activating the fogs in the BCM, i rechecked after your suggestion and i got everything set correct in BCM then looked at a couple of the other modules, went into the IPC and found the Rear fog indicator scrolled back up and found Front fog...
Hey thanks for the reply's and the great catalog link, the plug is a 10 pin and has 'Delphi' embossed on it, i needed a mag glass to see it's so small.
Anyway i wanted to finish up the job today and reinstall everything so i cut off the plug and used posi-loks to connect the 3 wires...
Have the same one and as others have posted no whistle and a much cleaner windshield, that's the main reason for getting it, that lack of 'rake' was a bug catcher for sure.
It terminates near the drivers side OE fog light behind the plastic bumper then would plug into another harness(which i don't have or do any have that didn't get factory fogs).
I want the female so i can connect to it, then cut off that end to connect to the Brown, Yellow/orange, powered wires...
I used the glass Rain -X treatment on the WS & back glass and found in my local Advance Auto a plastic Rain X treatment, so going to apply that to the HL's and see how it works/lasts.
I do a lot of trail riding and always carry the fob either in my bikes storage pouch under the seat or my handlebar mounted one along with my wallet & phone., snacks etc.
For outings that are full day i have a small backpack.
For me leaving the fob behind is something i prefer not to do, unless...
I've heard that saying 'Less is More' but Fords new for '26 national campaign ad is going to be 'Less really means Less at Ford'
(except for the price)
Also how did you setup the on/off switch, a separate toggle or new OE switch panel??
I don't have the fogs on my BB either, i realize i can do Forscan changes if i get a new switch panel just not sure the easier route to go.
Thank you.
