  1. Brake Pads and Right to Repair

The best brake pads for your Bronco come in a box that says "Ford". Front / KB3Z-2001-A Rear / MB3Z-2200-D The secret to long "wheel end" component life is keeping the heat down. Heat is generated during braking, and dissipated out the side of the brake pad material. As the brake pad wears and...
  2. We fixed the Ford Bronco's biggest problem... 🚙

So "wheels & feels"...........you regret not buying a 4-door with it's extensive cargo space. No worries, call Kendall Ford and trade up. Or, think about a Rossmonster Skye or Loft.
  3. Cargo space solution: pakmule

700lb? But your hitch receiver is only rated by Ford for 350lb tongue weight.
  4. Air pressure question

I run SAS Broncos at 39 psi, per Ford and their door spec decal. I find my Goodyear MTs perform well at 39 (I air down for the beach). I check tires when they're cold, e.g. in the morning. I air down in the summer to offset the higher pressure that hot temperatures create, and air up for winter...
  5. Engine failure at 45k miles

Purchased at a Ford dealer in January with 35k miles. Oil was changed at about 40k miles. (What was the exact mileage at the time of oil change?) What was the exact mileage that Saturday night when you stopped for gas and saw "Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power"?
  6. Engine failure at 45k miles

7 quarts is the correct fill for a 3.0L including the filter.
  7. Sound Deadening/Insulation Options for Painted Hardtops

Featuring white-painted hardtops, I don't find my 2024 2-door Heritage to be in need of additional sound deadening nor insulation. My 2025 4-door Heritage is even quieter, owing to enhancements made for MY2025 production. It's a Bronco........not an Explorer nor Expedition. Ford exceeded my...
  8. Bronco set first half and second quarter sales record and outsold Jeep Wrangler in Q2 2026

In the big picture, in North America, the EV market has died. As you know, Ford, GM, Honda and Stellantis have bailed out of that market. It has reverted to a niche market for that handful of people in your neighborhood, usually not car savvy people, who remain intrigued.
  9. Bronco set first half and second quarter sales record and outsold Jeep Wrangler in Q2 2026

But 60,000 units is a niche market quantity. Don't get me wrong, owing to the Amazon delivery truck contract, I own the stock. But not because of the SUV(s) and pickup. Car & Driver and Motor Trend didn't give them a 10 score.
  10. Bronco set first half and second quarter sales record and outsold Jeep Wrangler in Q2 2026

Rivian sells to a small niche market. It doesn't compete with Ford nor Stellantis.
  11. Filson is bringing me back to Ford

Sorry. I meant offering a Tremec-sourced (long-time Ford supplier) higher torque capacity 7-speed manual option for the non-Filson V6 trims (e.g. Badlands). Filson is farthest from my mind. Opposite the popular Wrangler Rubicon, imagine a 2-door snorkel and Warn Winch-equipped Everglades 2-door...
  12. Filson is bringing me back to Ford

I would like the standard output 2.7L to remain an option. Many would opt for that, for the fuel economy. In other words, I'd like to see three engine options, 2.3L, 2.7L and the detuned 3.0L available in select models. I also want a Tremec-sourced 7-speed manual spec'd (torque capacity) for the...
  13. Help with part number - dealer can’t even figure it out

Mine all have the thin pad under the levers. However, we've all seen some factory installed sound deadening headliners that lacked the thin pad around the levers.
  14. Installed the Hellwig 7907 Rear Sway Bar Kit on my 2021 2-Door Big Bend V6

Never felt the need. Neither my 2-door nor 4-door Broncos ever felt squirrelly. But most of all, the installation of the Hellwig anti-sway bar reduces rear axle articulation which is essential to the off-road capability engineered into the Bronco's suspension by Ford.
  15. Keep It Like New

I do it myself. My cousin had an obsession with detailing. We both grew up in the dealer world as well, he cars and me commercial trucks. I watched the high-end products enter the scene in the early 1980s. We tried everything. A lot of fun. Anyway, if you need any advise, glade to help. How...
  16. Giveaway! Show Us Your Rig & Win a FREE Set of Michelin Floor Mats!

There's no substitute for genuine Ford floor liners. And the Heritage version with the white Bronco are superb.
  17. ARB Summit Winch Bumper vs Zenith Non-Winch Front Bumper: Which Is Right for Your Bronco Build?

Neither are particularly attractive. The Ford Warn factory install on the heavy-duty modular bumper still looks the best.
