  1. Gear selector not illuminated

The illuminated shift knob used to be standard on BMW M cars but around the time the 2016 M2 came out it became an accessory. Not the end of the world that the Bronco doesn’t have it but considering how much Ford is charging for these vehicles it’s kind of a petty omission. The printed...
  2. Third MIC hardtop in 3 years FAILS

I don't think body flex is the issue as the cracks can be seen on new Broncos. I saw last week in the FB community a post showing hard top cracks on a new Bronco with 250 miles. I believe it's a manufacturing issue.
  3. Farewell, Miss my Bronco

With 93 octane I get between 17.5 - 18.5 with my 2 Door badlands depending on how much time I spend on freeways vs short driving.
  4. Farewell, Miss my Bronco

When people here discuss 22 - 23 mpg they are talking about strictly highway driving right? I drive mostly city and don't get anywhere near that with the 2.3L.
  5. Does anyone have an auto stop eliminator on their Bronco?

This has been by far the best mod I have made to my Bronco. Ten minute install and one of the all-time worst features ever added to automobiles is able to be permanently disabled.
  6. New Bronco variant or special edition to debut at 2026 Detroit Auto Show (Jan 14-25) .... any guesses what Ford has up their sleeve?

People here are already frustrated with the price increases year over year and the V8 would come with a high sticker price and likely cannibalize Raptor sales. I'm sure if they even contemplated it, once they ran the numbers it simply didn't justify the money and resources required to add the...
  7. Notable Humming/Vibration at Specific Speeds in 4A

My 2025 does this and I'm pretty sure it's normal.
  8. New Bronco variant or special edition to debut at 2026 Detroit Auto Show (Jan 14-25) .... any guesses what Ford has up their sleeve?

A hybrid version would be the best. One of the largest downsides of this vehicle is the horrendous fuel mileage with either engine option.
  9. 2025 2.3L Random Misfire CEL (Ford working on Software fix - Update! Software is not the problem)

The new 2.3L engine was in the Mustang and Explorer a year before the Bronco so it sounds like it's a programming issue with Broncos and Rangers and not hardware related.
  10. Ford Quality Control Problem

It takes a leap of faith to shell out $$$ for a Ford. Not even 6 months in I have had a recall performed and now waiting for a software fix for the 2.3L misfire issue. I went over 5 years of recent BMW ownership and never had a single visit to the dealership outside of the BMW free services. My...
  11. 2025 2.3L Random Misfire CEL (Ford working on Software fix - Update! Software is not the problem)

Below is the actual bulletin from Ford. Looks like Q2 before an update is available.
  12. 2025 2.3L Random Misfire CEL (Ford working on Software fix - Update! Software is not the problem)

I took my 2025 Badlands in today for the Instrument Cluster recall and also had them look at a Random Misfire CEL code that popped up (and cleared within a couple of days) and according to my dealer Ford is working on a software update to correct this which is exactly the same response as I have...
  13. Gauge glitch: No bezel around RPMs

Mine had the same thing happen. Getting the recall done early January.
  14. Cracked MIC roof action

It's not like I didn't use an example such as the MT82 transmission that did in fact have an ensuing Class Action lawsuit. Blue oval folks were saying the same things in the Ford forums to unfortunate owners with issues as you are today. We all know who was right in the end. As I said before...
  15. Cracked MIC roof action

Meh. I heard the same BS in 2012 regarding the MT82 transmission when many of us started having problems well before the class action lawsuit. I've owned nearly all the brands over the decades and have been a member of so many automotive forums and Ford has by far the most apologists for bad...
  16. Cracked MIC roof action

I'm a member of Bronco Nation on Facebook that has 155k members so far more than this forum and I can assure you that there are a lot of people with MIC top issues. There is 100% widespread evidence that points to lots of defective MIC tops. None of us can say if it's a majority or minority but...
  17. How did the Bronco not make Car & Driver's Top-10 list for 2026??? (slight sarcasm)

Car & Driver primarily tests new vehicles and long term reliability is not really part of their criteria. They do long term testers but don't accumulate ownership data like JD Power or CR.
  18. Those with McGard wheel locks,

I've had McGards on several cars and have never had the lock protrude like that. They usually offer several different types of lugs and that lock appears to be designed for the their Shank style lug nut. If you look below at the kit for the Bronco, you can see the lock is the exact same length...
  19. Several dealers wouldn’t let me lease my Everglades

Why would you purchase an Everglades if you weren't going to take it off road and maybe beat on it a little bit?
  20. How many Hexagons is too many Hexagons (Mudflaps)?

Those mudflaps pretty cheese but I'm more disturbed by the low profile tires.
