  1. Bronco newbie must have mods for mpg and wind sound

City driving is always going to be worst case scenario for these vehicles and for me it's been mostly exclusive. Also Canadian winter gas is likely contributing some to reduced mpg at the present time.
  2. Bronco newbie must have mods for mpg and wind sound

I have a 25 2-Door Badlands Automatic and the very best mileage I have got is 18.8 mpg with 93 octane and I haven't exactly been driving it hard. I assume the people getting into the 20's are doing a lot of highway and non-city driving as per your example of 75% highway.
  3. We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

I did enough research that I was well aware of common issues. My main gripe that bothers me on a daily basis is the location of the electronic parking brake switch. They could have placed a button anywhere on the dash or console like nearly every other vehicle today but they decided to put it...
  4. Smudges behind the glass in the instrument cluster???

My question is how that didn't get immediately flagged when they started up the vehicle for the first time after assembly as it seems impossible to miss.
  5. New Top-Level Bronco Model Trim w/ New Grille & Wheels Spotted

Well equipped Broncos have already climbed into German Luxury SUV territory pricing and I don't know if there's going to be an appetite to pay more $$$ just for color matched fenders, mirror caps, handles, interior stitching, etc. Kind of unfortunate that Ford is decontenting the Badlands...
  6. Any floor mats you like better than WeatherTech?

So expensive though especially if you want a matching rear cargo liner.
  7. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

This is the right move by Ford. Sounds like a lot of the naysayers here don't even understand the concept of hybrid. If you don't like the hybrid option, don't buy it. Nobody is going to be forced to buy a hybrid Bronco after all but it's an option that will resonate with the masses as...
  8. No V-6 Two Doors??

That's giving him too much credit. Lowbrow trolling at best.
  9. What are the long term consequences of PPF.

PPF will always start so show some yellow on over white or silver paint in time regardless of what XPEL, 3M, SunTek, etc say in their promotional materials. It's simply unavoidable due to UV exposure, air pollution, and general aging of the film. However it's also dependent on how you clean...
  10. 2025 2.3L Ford Performance Tune

Ford states 91 octane or higher which is pretty self-explanatory. These tunes simply aren't for people that don't like to pay for 91+ so if you are asking, it's probably not for you.
  11. What are the long term consequences of PPF.

It's also dependent on the color of your vehicle. The yellowing over time is much less noticeable on darker color paints.
  12. Dark Trail Series Titanium Package For Bronco

I understand why Ford does it. I believe these days a lot of consumers no longer enter dealerships with a specific model in mind. It's degenerated into "What's the nicest grey colored vehicle that I can walk out of here for $xxx/month payments".
  13. 2027 Bronco Changes Spied

Looks to me like they intentionally covered the wheels with vinyl to hide the color.
  14. 2027 Bronco Changes Spied

Retractable step would make sense for a luxury Lincoln version.
  15. 2027 Bronco Changes Spied

Interesting that they are finally covering up the pinch welds. The black rectangular slab kind of looks a little out of place though.
  16. Performance parts for 2025 2.3 Bronco?

Cold air intakes probably not a good idea for the 2025 due to the MAF.
  17. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

Could be variance in batches or luck of the draw. I'm a member of Bronco Nation on FB with 158k members and I see lots of photos weekly of people with issues.
  18. 2025 2.3L Random Misfire CEL (Ford working on Software fix - Update! Software is not the problem)

Hopefully the fix is on the horizon as we are about to get into 2nd quarter. My CEL comes up randomly every two months or so before clearing.
  19. ARP Studs and Head Gasket Upgrades 2.3L???

I think the Mustang 2.3L has a 6500 RPM redline so it's possible there's some subtle hardware differences outside of the tune.
  20. 7 Stupid Ford (EcoBoost) Engine Habits that are KILLING your Turbo

An oiled K&N may look nice and clean at 3k miles but that's because your engine ingested all the dirt and dust that the OEM filter was collecting.
