Assuming by trim piece, you mean the rubber mat? You might be able to but in my experience, the MagSafe magnet loses much of its grab then the mat is placed over it. I tried that when I installed it. I laid the mat back over it and it would charge but the magnets weren't doing much to hold it...

Do you have an option for those us with 2 doors that have a bestop sunrider (soft top over the front two seats)? I would imagine it would need to be attached and function like the one for the 4 door with softtop?

Nice work! I know people have been wanting a plate to replace their factory chargers with MagSafe. If there would have been one of these for vehicles without the factory charger, I would have used one instead of cutting a hole in my factory plate

Really need to add MagSafe. It's so critical in a moving vehicle to achieve and keep proper coil alignment and optimal charge with less heat transfer.

you can turn the screen off. I do it at night sometimes. Its a few button presses so not as easy as your rubicon. It would be nice to be able to tweak the colors for sure
