If I were you, I’d call Ford back tomorrow and just have it switched. Why waste time with the original dealer if they’ve already told you they were overcharging and another dealer would honor MSRP. You gave them a chance and they blew it.

Thanks for the feedback. I did switch from one dealer to another back in the summer when the first dealer wanted a $5000 non refundable deposit. That said, I’ll call the GM as you recommend.

I actually got thru to Ford prior to getting the confirmation just to ask basically what happens if the dealer now wants to charge above MSRP for the Raptor. they said, while they don't like it, they will be able to switch to another dealer. Of course, that's just some CSR.
