I drove my Bronco for two days after delivery, then it sat in the garage for a few days. On the fifth day the battery was completely dead. Charged it with a trickle charger and it's been fine for the last three weeks. But I haven't let it sit more than a couple days without starting it since...
Everyone has their own feature priorities and product expectations. If you never or rarely use the rear soft top lift functions, the decision to buy becomes easier. Our Bronco is a daily driver, so my wife and I will end up using that rear lift often. Retaining and improving the utility of...
I guess you've already tried adjusting the lever from side-to-side and the moving the catch up as high as it will go? That's not covered in the installation videos, but Alan will help you with that if you contact him. Beyond that, you may have to mod something.
I'm thinking about attaching a...
So, Alan from @Diabolical Inc called me after I emailed them about the soft top latch issues.
That's fantastic customer support, but in the end he couldn't help me. There are no workarounds to prevent the lid from interfering with the latches and no plans for a design change.
I understand...
Thanks for the confirmation. That's how I adjusted the levers - there's just enough slope on the underside of the latch to push it open automatically when I close it with force. But then the lever ends clack down onto the metal lid of the Slipstream and the latches aren't 100% closed, compared...
I just installed my Slipstream today and thought I had missed an important step for the soft top. But I see that your soft top levers don't clear the Slipstream lid either.
I am not as enthusiastic as you about hacking a solution (adding your own foam strip to pad the contact between the lever...
Are you snapping the top downward with some force? Or are you manually holding the corner latches open until they clear the latch points?
After adjusting the latch lever positions laterally to match the new catch offset (caused by installing the rear corner bracket behind the factory catch)...
I got the call to pickup my Bronco in McKinney about a week after it arrived in Mesquite. The dealer had prepped it and performed the windshield recall in that time. But I got no heads-up about anything, even when I asked about it. Just the call saying it was ready.
Thanks for the quick response. I'm going with the Slipstream from Diabolical, Inc.

And since I don't have it yet, I'm using this comment as my point of reference...
@IAG Performance, I preordred the soft top assist and it's been one of my favorite accessories. Great product.
I've been closing the soft top this way:
And this method works fine.
However, I'm going to be adding a security enclosure that will prevent me from pulling down on the soft top...
@Firefight911 made me question my assumptions. The thing I disabled was "Wireless App Projection", which prevents Android Auto until I connect via USB. BUT, I was still able to stream music to the Bronco over Bluetooth without having Android Auto connected. The two things aren't tied together...
I just tried Sport mode in my manual for the first time today. If you haven't done it already - WAIT until you get some miles on it first. It will be a brand new experience to savor when you try it out!
