So did ya check it at brandy new to you? If not i wud guess it was from factory …if you have no leaks, might wanta check ur oil, and take a wifg at the exhaust when its running

If you like to tinker. …. I have had a few tacoma’s….. worst seats bar none, i have gone to a upholstery shop and bought sheet hi density foam in a few thickness, and use the base seat, add foam to fit ur build, ie bolsters, seat back etc, glue it all together, and put a good quality seat cover...
