  1. CarPlay/wireless CarPlay background noise on phone calls

We have a 24 Bronco Raptor. When my wife calls me via wireless CarPlay or wired CarPlay the roaring noise in the background is overwhelming. Initially I thought the mic was picking up wind noise from the cabin being new to Broncos. However that is not the case. On longer calls the noise will...
  2. Hello from TN...New to Bronco

    Welcome aboard!
  3. Weathertech mudflaps installed on 2024 Bronco Raptor

She doesn’t approve of much. Lol. Awfully bossy for a rescue. Great intel on the user experience. Thanks for sharing. Adams polishes makes a floor mat cleaner that works amazingly well on the weathertech floor mats. It likely would work on the mud flaps as well? Just a thought.
  4. Weathertech mudflaps installed on 2024 Bronco Raptor

The spray is immediate and awful. Even from a wet dirt road at 20-25 mph. Totally covered the doors and rear fender flares. Definitely would be an issue with a sharp edge dropoff. This one won’t be a pavement princess by any stretch but it won’t be a full blown rock crawler either. That’s the...
  5. Weathertech mudflaps installed on 2024 Bronco Raptor

Quickly realized the door spray was going to be an issue so we ordered the weather tech mud flaps. No drill is a stretch for the rears. Fronts were simple to install. Rears require four screws to pierce the plastic bumper cap behind the mud flap and a speed nut to be placed on the threads on...
  6. Is Ford really making you decide between using the built in Nav and supplying the data brokers?

That’s quite a reach to be honest. I never said anyone was wrong. I just said I had nothing to hide. The reality of this is there are what 334m people in the us alone. So statistically it’s almost negligible that my data footprint will trigger any kind of damaging theft. As far as my assets I...
  7. Is Ford really making you decide between using the built in Nav and supplying the data brokers?

To whomever Jerry is could you please stop signing me up for credit cards and payday loans? I get 8-10 spam texts daily. Come on Jerry. Get your life together. 🤣🤣 If everyone is always tracking and listening to us maybe this message gets heard. I'm boring. I’d like to get a cut of my data...
  8. Squeaky rattle on rear passenger side since purchase

I'm experiencing the same squeaks in our 24. Just over 2 months old. It's more pronounced when it is below freezing and calms down some as interior warms up. I'll check the recs above and see if that resolves ours as well. Thanks for the reply!
  9. Seat too high for a 6' driver

Yes it’s an issue for my wife and I both. I’m 6’3. She’s 5’10. We both have a 34” inseam so she’s more legs than me. We opted for leather seats to get the power. We only fit comfortably with the seats bottomed out. The manual seats were a no go.
  10. Stroppe Edition @ Detroit Auto Show

If you are a car enthusiast the Detroit auto show is a great one to attend.
  11. Saw this today

I’ve never run the cooper tires because they chunk so badly on gravel roads when run on hd trucks. It’s a great tire otherwise but the compound is too soft. I live near the former Cooper plant (now Goodyear) so lots of guys around here run them. I’ve run toyo at3 tires since they came out...
  12. Any OTA Updates Recently?

First thing I would check is the battery. My 450 will trigger all kinds of warnings like that when the batteries are weak. Think about it like this. The Bronco has a series of computers that fire up in series at startup. A weak battery doesn’t properly awake all of them hence the warnings.
  13. How do yo store your portable compressor?

Depends on if you are using the through door vent to the cargo area or leave it as is. I’d likely opt for the through door to keep dust at a minimum. In either instance there is no engine producing heat right beside the compressor. Because I’m not adding air while in motion there is little to...
  14. How do yo store your portable compressor?

Those are my concerns as well. Primarily engine heat as our bronco raptor is a daily driver. Cold doesn’t worry me as much. Maybe it should. Water intrusion and just overall dirtiness of the under hood area would definitely concern me. however I know many use this location so it could likely...
  15. How do yo store your portable compressor?

I’ve looked at that as well. I do like how it’s inside the tailgate vs outside. I need to check the cfm differences and duty cycles. I run an arb twin as the heart of my oba system on my pickup and it’s been amazing. I have air bags, 5 gallon tank, air chuck at the rear bumper and of course...
  16. How do yo store your portable compressor?

I’m going with the arb spare tire mount system. It’s expensive but it utilizes a dead space and doesn’t take up any cargo room. One less thing I have to remember to secure with tops off. Molle panel for the hose or toss it under the cargo floor. That part I haven’t decided on yet.
  17. Windows don’t drop down when clicking unlock button

Somewhat related. None of my vehicles have ever done that on one press of unlock. However all of them will with a double press and hold. That is called global windows down if I’m not mistaken. Personally I wouldn’t want my windows dropping with one press. There is an update for the windows...
  18. Has anyone installed the new woofer from SSV / Kicker

I had a custom jl audio box in one of my older pickups that was amazing. I would highly recommend it. Unless you totally fab something yourself it would be hard to buy better for stock location utilization.
  19. Forscan vs Carista

First I’ve heard of the a.s.s feature not being programmable to off. It’s on my list of changes to make to our 24. Challenge accepted.
  20. Advice to purchase extended warranty

First I had heard of that. This was copied from the granger esp website and Flood ford esp has the exact same language fwiw: " If I purchase a Ford Protect plan from you, can I use it at my local Ford or Lincoln dealership? Yes. A Ford Protect Contract is good for any Ford and Lincoln...
