  1. JcrOffroad’s bolt-on steel bumper parts! Hoops & more.

For the winch plate on the modular bumper, would you mind taking a picture straight on, level with the top of the ACC box? This is my #1 option as I don't want to swap the entire bumper at this point (though yours looks great!). It looks like there's a clear path under there but tough to tell...
  2. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 2

modular - would like to have the hardtop on for gear hauling during the summer for camping and fishing trips. Would be good to have the open air flexibility during those time. But will live with a one piece and do more swaps with soft top if the mod price is funky
  3. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 1

using the winch on your vehicle or stand alone electric "hoist" style?
  4. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 1

because we absolutely destroyed this thread haha. sorry...I'll take responsibility for my part in that at least.
  5. My audio system upgrade with lots of photos

I feel your pain. chips aren't allowed in the bronco. the back seat of my wife's SUV is completely annihilated. would be embarrased to try to sell that vehicle to anyone in the future. explaining no "crumbly" snacks to 2 and 4 year olds is interesting.
  6. Floor Liners for BD Bronco Worth It (Y/N)?

Agreed - I added them to my build. They aren't that bad. Easy to pull in and out and I think robust enough for the long term. Wouldn't hesitate to get them if you're on the fence. Big fan of weathertech though.
  7. Front license plate mount options?

Update for those looking at the Hooke Road solution. Product purchased here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VYYNM38?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details A few general notes: - Bolt included in the package is not long enough to fit through the shackle mount. You need at least 1.75" to get...
  8. Warning: Bronco bolts strip easily

I knew nothing about Torx (other than which ones open my computer) before first trying to remove the mod bumper bolts. Regular T40 worked okay but the bolts were not in there very tight on mine and it was obvious to me the bit was not perfect. I should say, like others, I did not look up the...
  9. Sold out. Finally a Front License Plate bracket solution - order yours today

I ran afoul of a parking attendant in LA when I did a car restoration. Should have learned my lesson but ended up with 3 tickets while parked, even with plate displayed in the windshield. Never pulled over for it, but some people are sticklers.
  10. Sold out. Finally a Front License Plate bracket solution - order yours today

who did your floor and what chemistry did you go with? Looks awesome. did mine with an off the shelf epoxy kit - not enough flake in it for my liking and slick as shit. I think the flake content you have probably makes it less slick? sorry for off topic!
  11. Front license plate mount options?

I have one of these on order. Was thinking about ditching the bolt through the shackle for a quick release connector of some sort. Once I get it in hand I'll do some sizing and see what I can pick up at Home Depot. Colorado is so backed up on registering vehicles, not sure this is even relevant...
  12. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 1

I'm also one of those people that gets out a magnifying glass to look at my vehicles...I know it's a Bronco, I'll get over it once I have a few dings.
  13. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 1

it was wet...I cleaned with windex and a microfiber towel the very first time after a car wash and that even left perceptible swirls. but the kicker was wiping the snow off with a glove...obviously a lot of grime in there but still...For the record, I wasn't expecting better than that, just kind...
  14. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 1

First time I wiped mine down so I could see out it was all scratched up...not much has changed in soft top window technology apparently.
  15. Driver bit to open modular bumper

just opened up the included tool kit and tried to do this as well. would it have killed you Ford? (sigh)
  16. For my fellow Fly fishermen/women

Wil do. Historically I've stuck the butt end (reel included) under my wipers when moving spots. There's no issue there even at high speeds but I'm not sure I'd trust them in the more vertical orientation of the bronco windshield. Also, for long trips, not ideal, haha. External rod tube is the...
  17. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 1

good points to add for follow up with ADV. was pondering this a couple weeks ago in another thread with respect to materials of construction. part of Ford's development issues may have been related to trying to lightweight more than other hard tops on the market and maintain load capacity? I'm...
  18. Bronco Sport Owner says…”I thought I bought the new Bronco”

Agreed with this point. Early 2017 was the first announcement maybe? So they had to be planning it well before that? For those following the Ford marketing from the get-go (probably many of the users here) it was clear there was a "baby Bronco" coming with the real hype around the "real...
  19. For my fellow Fly fishermen/women

nice solution for mounting the tubes. was just starting to think about what to do with rods - I like the option of rigging them up first but I have a soft top so was looking at something like this gentleman has. I think these are sumo rodmounts? anyone have any experience with these?
  20. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 1

You're entitled to your interpretation of what I wrote but the overall intent of my post was certainly not to "encourage a vendor to charge a premium" despite my individual points and what I think they are going to do. At the end of the day I really hope this comes in at a price that is...
