I was ballparking the 'same price". When you're in the $52 000 price range for a car, what difference is $2700. I think we can agree they're the same price.
If I had $50 000 to spend on a vehicle, a Bronco wouldn't even be in my list. I'd beat this guy down $10 000, and eat Broncos all...
On my B&,P when you add the rear lockers etc to a base, it makes you add the Sasquatch.
Is there a way to get a rear locker on my base without getting Sasquatch?
As a Canadian buyer also....
A base with Sasquatch is the same price as a Badlands. For me, the extra goodies that comes with a Badlands isn't worth having Sasquatch. I want my money to count where it hits the road.
Hard decision.
I've had the same questions and concerns. What upgrades in what models are worth it, to me. In my case, a base with Sasquatch is what I'd like. But I'm wondering if I need it. I definitely want more ground clearance that the base w/o Sasquatch, and the tire options and things get confusing...
Wow....this post has been up for two hours and nobody is complaining about the awful color of the stitching in the seats, the designer's poor taste in wheel/tire combination, or there being too many holes in the grill, or the location of the tail lights.
I guess 2020 will end better than it...
I've been saying the similar thing lately. Only from a different perspective. I don't want any tech or anything else fancy. I want bare metal floor, metal non removable roof, crank windows, am/FM radio, mechanical gauges. Basically, I want a 1969 Bronco with modern dependability. Small lift...
I've pretty much decided to get an XL Ranger with FX4. I get trail control, more room, more towing, more payload, off road capible enough, plus a heck of a lot cheaper.
Take it from someone who lives in the salt belt. A hidden winch inside a bumper will rust equally as fast if not more quickly than one on the bumper. If it's outside, at least you can keep it covered with Fluid Film or wash the salt/crap off.
My plan is to have a 2 door Bronco, a Mud Horn Signet, that says "Clan of Two".
(A play on words with the mandalorian and the child being a clan of two, and the Bronco being a two door)
Take it from someone who goes on multi day excursions. I'd only sleep back there if I had to, I wouldn't plan on camping trip sleeping in the back. The primary reason is that the back seats don't fold down flat. Ford likely calls that 'flat', but it isn't flat enough to be comfortable...
