I can care about starving and dying people and still wonder where the Bronco I ordered a year ago is. I'm a good multi-tasker... I can even do it while posting on this here forum.
Stop complaining about the complaining, and don't you dare come at me about complaining about the complaining...
Looks like Ford verified these numbers are accurate, though no clarification on 2/4 door. Maybe they are the same?
Bronco Nation also fixed their chart so non-Squatch Badlands is indeed 17/18/17.
I keep seeing these claims (and believed them) - where is this info coming from? A photo from the plant was showing they were planning between 70-80 hard tops a day for this week.
This finally explains all of those color-matched gas cans they've been displaying at large Bronco events. I expect them to be available on the accessory website any day now...
I posted a picture in another thread earlier - Webasto is already putting out 70-80 hard tops a day, so that might not be as constrained as suspected. They may be able to crank out more but that's just the demand at MAP right now. The earlier email about hard top production in July being low...
Considering there is nothing showing 2-door vs 4-door differences and obvious mistakes (BL listed twice, for example), I'm going to go with "official" vs official.
I'll wait for a window sticker or info on the DOT website. I'm sure these are close, but who knows - maybe these are the 2-door...
Just thinking about this - for a JIT situation, it would be normal to not stockpile parts. Are they only doing 20-30 a day right now because they haven't started building more than the mannequins, and once things ramp up, they'll churn out more? I'm guessing a warehouse that COULD store MIC tops...
Nice! I keep getting more expensive by adding the advanced off-road pack and making sure I have the heated/cooled seats (but saving money by losing the cold weather pack and the heated steering wheel). Then again, I just got off the phone with the Ford dealer. They gave priority build to the one...
Defender also has a much higher towing capacity. I've been looking and orders appear to come in within 3 months, rarely 4. That's much more reasonable. 22's are also supposed to land next month so I'm waiting to see what ends up on the dealer lots.
That being said, I'm also waiting to hear...
It's a lot of timing now. I haven't ordered anything, but if something comes available... It's like considering cutting off a family member, though (dramatic sounding, but seriously).
I don't know. I've only owned and driven Ford vehicles, I've gotten friends and my now-wife to get a Ford, but for the first time ever, I'm looking at bailing and getting a non-Ford. I'm generally a loyal customer to companies that treat me right (same cell carrier for nearly 20 years!), but...
I'm going to grudgingly remove the trailer tow from my build, though I don't expect it's going to help much with my BL / 2.7 / lux / MIC build.
Since all of this happened, I shopped around and found another vehicle I really like, so I've decided to let fate decide (unless I find out I'm...
My 2017 Escape has the rear wiper controls on the stalk. Pull back for windshield spray, push for rear window spray. A switch on the end controls the two speeds if you want it to run constantly.
