  1. RC High Winch Mount Feedback?

Just finished installing the RC high mount and built my own frame horn reinforcements!
  2. NOW AVAILABLE: BOSS "Walker Link" Sway Bar Shock System - Great alternative to disconnects!

No, I don't think there is any negative impact to driving on the street and traction off road IMO has improved! The best way I can explain it is the suspension feels looser but not in a bad way. No I don't think she felt it was worse just different, maybe she felt a little more body lean going...
  3. NOW AVAILABLE: BOSS "Walker Link" Sway Bar Shock System - Great alternative to disconnects!

You definitely can feel a difference, and how much is subjective. My wife didn't know I installed them and on our way to Colorado she asked me if I had done something as she said the ride felt a bit different especially the on and off ramps. I could feel a difference but had I not driven it...
  4. NOW AVAILABLE: BOSS "Walker Link" Sway Bar Shock System - Great alternative to disconnects!

Read this whole thread, they have some articulation numbers on like the second page. Problem with those AC Fab disconnects, the heim joints start to wear and get really loud. I've been running the Walker links for nearly a year now and have nothing but positive things to say about them. You...
  5. Ford Performance winch mount

The frame horn reinforcements from ADD just look thin and cheap but I also thought the ones that Ford provide with there winch mount don't look overly beefy. But the engineers must think they are sufficient. The ones Tricky made look like the real deal! Tricky you better raise the price and...
  6. Ford Performance winch mount

I also contacted Tricky Mike about his frame horn reinforcements and yes I was told they were not offering them anymore because they weren't cost effective. His looked like pieces of art they were so well constructed! I decided to build my own out of .250 gauge plate, not as pretty as Tricky's...
  7. Broke another Axle... (Video)

I don't give a damn what you call your videos, I'm more interested in what is causing you to break axles! There maybe no binding but your CV"s at full extension are at an extreme angle and are going to cause excessive wear at an accelerated rate! Even driving down the roads and you hit a pothole...
  8. Broke another Axle... (Video)

Not trying to be a smart ass, but you said this one lasted about 8 months, that's not a very long wear over time think!
  9. Broke another Axle... (Video)

Yeah, I'd be doing something different! You said you thought it might also be from running your sway bar disconnect, it might be part of the problem. But there are guys I know that have removed their sway bar completely that haven't blown CV's but they aren't running huge lifts either.
  10. Broke another Axle... (Video)

I don't think they function well for very long.
  11. Broke another Axle... (Video)

That's what they make snowmobiles for.
  12. Broke another Axle... (Video)

The diff drop will help but 5" of lift is pretty hard to compensate for! That's just the nature of the beast when your dealing with IFS! That's where portals come in, but that's simply out of most people's price range. I know the big lifts are all the rage, ( I don't get it) but I think you'd be...
  13. Broke another Axle... (Video)

I'm thinking that would help a lot, I've never been a fan of puck lifts. But if you stay with a 5" lift even with coilovers your still putting a lot of wear on your CV's and also your rack if you haven't upgraded it.
  14. Broke another Axle... (Video)

Get rid of the spacers, go to a more moderate lift of about 2" with coil overs and I'll bet most of your problems will go away.
  15. Broke another Axle... (Video)

Making a video tearing things up and abusing them in the cold and snow, looks like fun to me!! 🥶
  16. Bilstein 5100 adjustable lift shocks installed. Before & after pics (updated with Wildtrak tires & wheels)

Oh it's definitely better than pucks! And yes everyone knows about the Easter eggs, but let's see what Ford says about the warranty work you want when you've torn up your CV's and or rack! Yes they are meant to off-road and need the clearance, but anytime you do large lifts you are messing with...
  17. Bilstein 5100 adjustable lift shocks installed. Before & after pics (updated with Wildtrak tires & wheels)

Just need to except that you will get more wear and tear on your CV's and rack! 4 Wheel Parts will recommend anything during a sale.
  18. Any mountain pics?

    Pomeroy lake, Colorado.
  19. What if......
