  1. Bilstein 5100 adjustable lift shocks installed. Before & after pics (updated with Wildtrak tires & wheels)

Like MoabRox said, the 5100's are great, I think they are probably the best relatively cheap lift you can go with. Way better than the stock Hitachi's.
  2. Bilstein 5100 adjustable lift shocks installed. Before & after pics (updated with Wildtrak tires & wheels)

So I have the 12,000 pound Badlands Apex winch on the front of my 2 door BD and I really don't notice a lot of dive under braking with the 5100's. I'm also running 33 K02's.
  3. How long do you let your road buggers grow until you get rid of them?

Not sure how you guys can drive nice new vehicles on salty roads, no matter how much you try, you're never gonna get all the salt off! I started years ago parking my good rides and driving an old beater, driving a 2000 Camry now, put the Bronco away in November.
  4. How long do you let your road buggers grow until you get rid of them?

I'll never know as I don't drive mine in snow and salt!
  5. Black Lug Nuts recommendations?

I bought Dynofit, but they are currently not available in black, total junk as far as chipping goes. I also have the McGard security nuts and they have held up well.
  6. Black Lug Nuts recommendations?

I bought a set on AMAZON that had good reviews but are total garbage, chipping very easily! I just cut a funnel so it slips over the hex portion of the lug nut and hit it with a rattle can so it doesn't get on the rim. They do make black Titanium lug nuts but they are expensive as hell and I'm...
  7. NOW AVAILABLE: BOSS "Walker Link" Sway Bar Shock System - Great alternative to disconnects!

I've been running Walker Links since they were first released and have nothing but good things to say about them. Not as much articulation as a disconnect and definitely not as much as if you remove the sway bar completely but I like them a lot!
  8. Catch can is worth the investment!

It's a bitch reaching the fitting on the lower part of the engine where it hooks up to the oil air separator, at least that's what I think it's called. My hand/arm looked like it was chewed on by a bobcat! I think it's well worth putting a catch can on, I've collected about 1/2 cup in 23k miles...
  9. What is your favorite Bronco event?

After going to Cel West we plan on doing Cel NV in 2025.
  10. What is your favorite Bronco event?

We went to Super Cell East (Tennessee) this year and although it has the most Broncos by far, like you said it lacks the off-road trails unless you want to drive to Wind Rock. We've done Super Cell West (Colorado) three years in a row and the trails really make it great! Nowhere near as many...
  11. 2.3L - Life Expectancy?

My nephew changes his oil every 10k in his Tacoma and has 200k+on it. A Ford product isn't a Toyota, I'm changing every 3k in my Bronco!
  12. 2.3L - Life Expectancy?

There are several on the market but I went with the one from Mishimoto. Some people don't like that it's mounted behind the engine on the firewall, but with all the congestion in the engine compartment the last thing I wanted was it up front! It's not that big of a deal to reach over the engine...
  13. 2.3L - Life Expectancy?

It certainly won't hurt having one installed! I installed one on my 2.3 as soon as I got it and change my oil every 3k miles. I have a little over 16k miles on it now and it's collected about an ounce of oil, 1 ounce that isn't turning to charcoal on the backside of the valves!
  14. Largest tire size for big bend without modifications

I went with 285/70/17 on my stock BD with no problems but have since installed Bilstein 5100 set for about 1.5" of lift. I have K02's and like them a lot, not a lot of road noise.
  15. Rear Diff skid by Next Venture Motorsport, Just look @ it will you just look @ it.

No, I was thinking that the pig already weighs 5300+ and really doesn't need any more poundage!
  16. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

That's a mouth full and you may be right, but I just think the 2 door looks way better, the way a Bronco is supposed to look! I fall into your first group, empty nesters, just the wife and me and the 2 door has plenty of room. And it just looks better!
  17. 4L reverse camera issue on 8 inch screen.. Ford what is update

I'm thinking that an update must have fixed mine, it hasn't happened in awhile.
