In lieu of the challenge being what it is, the first response was a VIDEO of a sequence of PHOTOS, so it does work, but then again, who am I to judge? I barely got my post grudgingly approved.

There are several options, but this is one of the base mounts.
On one of these, I have this phone mount attached to it.
I also have a few AR | BALLS that I used to mount a RAM arm joint to mount my tablet to for off grid navi.
I also have quick release picatinny mounts that I use for my GoPro...
I can't say I've noticed, but then again, I also replaced the mounting point on the dash to the SLAP from AR so that may have alleviated that.
Also, I'm gonna pretend I didn't read this because I don't want to know.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a young loved one is hard... but at least this one is replaceable.
I recently broke a few ribs doing stupid things and I can also relate to the pain. Whatever you do, don't sneeze. And the best bit of advice I can offer is... stool softeners.
I love mine. I have 2 phone mounts (driver and passenger), a walkie mount, 2 gopro mounts(using quick release scope mounts), and a tablet mount, and it's been extremely solid. I also added the SLAP mount that replaces the plastic in the center dash.
