It's because there are 1000 threads on wind noise and this is the internet. You came in with your first thread with no profile pic and a typo, albeit a funny typo.
If you read through the 1000 other thread the consensus is: Wind noise is fine, if it bothers you buy a Defender.
I ended up doing one in the front, one in each wheel well, two in the middle and one in the back on each side. Almost complete coverage except a small diamond caused by the front bash plate.
I ended up putting in blue covers cuz fast and furious. But I have to switch back because I moved to ID...
I would not consider holding the top by the windows. Already a couple people have had the back glass explode on them. If the top is dropped from any height I do not think it would survive.
There is an FM transmitter that would work. I think this would let you use your phone for calls and nav and play audio off the FM.

So far just this OHV area down Linder and Snake River down at Birds of Prey. Actually tried out this OHV area today with the wife and kid but the dust was a little too much for them with roof and doors off. Both spots are pretty easy and fun. I want to get up into the mountains but haven't made...
