  1. Smaller Tire size to run a Sasquatch package

37x11.5R17 will be less stress on all drivetrain parts. Better mpg. More clearance. 35x13.5R17 will give the wide tire look with less mpg and less clearance. Looks vs function
  2. Smaller Tire size to run a Sasquatch package

Originally was looking for Badlands take offs with ~33" Ko2. That has been an excellent snow tire (past rigs). But the Big Bend take offs are nearly given away on marketplace. Just about bought a set of 5 with lugs for $400 and no miles. These were from a 2025 with less than 100miles for...
  3. Smaller Tire size to run a Sasquatch package

We put Big Bend 32" wheels and tires on for ski season. Procal adjust for size. Icon CDEV suspension setup for 37s. Looks a bit goofy but should work alright. Curious on mpg impact as we average 20mpg on the skinny 37s.
  4. 5/14/2026 Update - Bronco Raptor APG ProRunner Suspension Installation

Curious what is involved to get the Raptor computer to accept 40" tires and 5.38 gears. My understanding is those parameters are somewhat locked down. I've asked numerous people about Raptor regearing and nobody either has tried it or thinks it would work.
  5. Rack-Hack. HOSS 3.0 severe duty STEERING RACK and TIE RODS ...Ford Performance M-3200-WT

Finally installed the Hoss 3.0 Severe Duty rack in our 2dr Sasquatch Manual. Decided to try the "easy" method with ProCal. It didn't download the files properly (no surprise). Ford Support was excellent - engineering modified my download and was able to run with no issues. Here's what I...
  6. Bronco Raptor Differences vs. All Other Trims - Comprehensive List

Did you include? Transmission Cooler - Stand alone This is in addition to the heat exchanger found on the V6 broncos. Note the 4 cylinder auto has no cooler at all.
  7. Looking at a 2023 badlands with the v6.

They seem to be less reliable than they once were. Cam shaft failure and more these days... I'd choose the 2.3L over any other motor for simplicity and performance.
  8. That darn contact patch again: Wider is better?? Or is narrow the way?

Contact patch is greater on a narrower tire at higher PSI than a wider tire at lower PSI. If a 37x13.5R17 requires 12psi to obtain a similar contact patch as a 37x11.5R17 at 18psi. How much ground clearance is gained by the narrow tire? I'm guessing a 38x13.5R17 at 12psi is similar in...
  9. Hidden Winch Options for 2.3L - Lobo vs RC vs ???

Who needs quality? Buy China crap. I'm sure there's no difference... I'd definitely save money on recovery and protection equipment.
  10. Hidden Winch Options for 2.3L - Lobo vs RC vs ???

Don't trust anyone's reviews with a pristine undercarriage = poser street princess What's the point. Save the money and save the weight
  11. Aftermarket Fox Live Valve Suspension Coming for Ford Bronco (non-raptor) in 2026

You're buying the wrong vehicle is primary concern is wheel travel.... the Bronco stock compared to aftermarket is such an incremental improvement. Wow 4" more rear travel... game changer. Haha Bronco is about balance and being able to hang tires and retain stability. It will never be the...
  12. Hidden Winch Options for 2.3L - Lobo vs RC vs ???

Rough country is total junk. Can't reach the clutch. Poor design. Hangs low. Weak. Ours was ruined after 1 rocky trail. Lobo is the strongest best design available. Not perfect but not junk
  13. New Portals Coming Soon From Turn Offroad!

Which is why @SierraBronco and myself are posting... It is rather difficult to find information online. Try searching google. Everything is promotion. Including YT videos. And everyone does care about downsides when their wheel breaks off.
  14. New Portals Coming Soon From Turn Offroad!

Agreed. It just seems like a bad idea for street driven rigs especially with inexperienced or limited budget buyers. Quinn has been convincing people it is the "one and done" solution for lift and gearing with no downside. This is straight up deceptive. And I was nearly taken in.... Guess...
  15. New Portals Coming Soon From Turn Offroad!

Correct. Didn't attempt. Portals and 40s give a nice height advantage. I'll give it a shot when there is not a mud puddle at the base. However, portals and height bite back on "UP Chuck". Crazy to see Dave's 2dr JK (6 speed manual) on 35s idle up it... On that trip... we were on day 11 of...
  16. New Portals Coming Soon From Turn Offroad!

Definitely worth buying when needing to drive over a measuring tape! Seriously there is nowhere you can go with portals that a good driver can't go without. Maybe a benefit for occasional obstacles like 5 gallon buckets but seriously... driver around or winch over.
  17. New Portals Coming Soon From Turn Offroad!

Regear is a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the frustration.
  18. New Portals Coming Soon From Turn Offroad!

Broncos need portals like a flat tire. :cwl:
  19. Lobo HNT Hidden Winch Skid Plate and Openroad 13500 winch installation, pictures, and review

Rope needs to be spooled on the drum before/after using the winch. That is the part the sucks the most.... It is awkward and difficult to see and tension properly under load. Reaching the clutch lever with the skid is not difficult. You'll be crawling on the ground anyhow. I wouldn't waste...
