  1. Roof Rack Mounting point broken

I've removed broken screws and repaired threads on a variety of holes over the years at my job. These are my thoughts. Let the dealer look first. The small curl of metal on the other stud is a sign that they were not screwing on so great. Drilling it away will be easy. But I don't see what...
  2. Headlights On when Unlocking?

Unlocking mine only turns on the same lights as yours. If it's dark enough, when you press the start button the headlights will come on at that point. There is a forscan setting to change how the headlight control knob acts but I'm not sure it can give you what you want.
  3. Looking for inexpensive roof light bar.

I haven't decided if a light bar is something I'm going to add. I'll likely barely use it. But looking on amazon I've seen the brand Nicoko and the 50 inch is $234. It's RGB so you can choose any color. My idea is setting the bar to an amber that matches the trucks blinkers when driving on the...
  4. not needed

It was dark out but a quick peek revealed no matching plugs. The closest was a similar looking plug with similar wire sheathing but had 3 colored wires coming out and was numbered 1001025979. The rest were different colored plugs or larger. I do not have power seats like you though.
  5. Big Bronco Headlights

I purchased PremiumCare. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://fordprotect.ford.com/plan/index/downloadbrochure/careplan/premiumcare//&ved=2ahUKEwiyrsDPl-D2AhXkjokEHVlnC8kQFnoECFUQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0OyZTzBok1dYvEVWsVm-7w Look at electrical and notice the asterisk for headlights.
  6. Big Bronco Headlights

I purchased the extended warranty under the impression the lights were covered. But then I saw something posted here that made me think I'm wrong. I think it was that coverage specifically for lighting has to be added.
  7. not needed

If you connect to the fordpass app you may get more information about the error.
  8. Wildtrak with HOSS Upgrade or Badlands with Staybar Disconnect? Thoughts?!?!?

One thing that hasn't been mention is the ability to smooth out your trail ride by disconnecting the front sway bar. It's not game changing by any means but I feel it helps smooth out the side-to-side bumps along with airing down. I'm in Massachusetts. Not much high speed stuff around at all...
  9. Seafoam

I planned on using it on mine unless I hear different in this thread. I used it on my LS1 and never had a problem. Edit: I think you are referring to adding it to the fuel? I never tried adding it to the gas or oil. I always used mine by adding through a vacuum line then flooding the engine.
  10. My Bronco has mis matched paint from the factory. (pic attached)

As at least one person stated, being a metallic color it can be harder to blend. Make sure they blend into both fenders or you could end up with a similar result. I don't think the dealer will let you choose where it gets fixed. But I had my door done at Clark's Autobody in Pepperell, MA. I...
  11. Remotely lock Bronco with it running?

It's currently free and I've not heard anything yet about that changing. You get a few other features with the app as well. You can track your Bronco if you enable it. You can get alerts if your doors are opened. Things like mileage, gas level, and oil life can be viewed plus any check engine...
  12. Remotely lock Bronco with it running?

You can start the truck normally, exit and then lock it with the same fob that was used to start it. Alternatively, you can lock and remote start the truck without going outside using the FordPass app.
  13. The Trail Carnage Thread….. Show Yours

That rear shock mount pic hurts the most.
  14. My Bronco has mis matched paint from the factory. (pic attached)

I'd be surprised if you were able to find out the specifics of what happened. My GTO had a mismatched rear bumper and a dark ≈3" spot on the roof. I noticed a month or so after I bought it brand new. I was never able to find out if the bumper was replaced before delivery. The dealer did fix it...
  15. RetroMod Bronco Build

Great choice for the white and it looks perfect against the antimatter. I've seen a few other broncos with bright white accessories and it does not look good IMO.
  16. Rattling Windows

I never claimed it to be a problem that exists on all frameless windows designs. But I do believe the window on the Bronco would not rattle if it was framed. Yeah, it's a bad design and should have be engineered correctly from the get go.
  17. Rattling Windows

This is something that is known and has been discussed multiple times. It's an unwanted side effect of having frameless windows. Having driven the Bronco for a while now, I highly doubt this will ever cause them to break. Maybe during a collision or jumping the Bronco could flex them enough to...
  18. 2.3 at Elevation experience

Underwhelming is all a matter of opinion. But being a turbo vehicle, high altitude will not affect the Bronco like a normally aspirated vehicle would be. The turbo on the 2.3 is able to compensate for the lower oxygen available.
  19. Never got your assembly line photo? Maybe someone has a match!

The week of july 12th. But I recieved the email stating it was missed.
  20. Finally able to go topless!

Looks great! Fuel rebel 6 wheels? Those are at the top of my list if I decide to get new wheels.
