  1. Bronco Raptor Headlamp Upgrade No Longer on Ford Website?

Not that this has to do with headlights, but I used my Ford points to buy a windshield thru Ford. We all need one sooner or later.
  2. Scammers are getting out of hand

Scammers are really getting good at fooling people, their use of AI has helped them tremendously. If you think it is a scam, text or email, don't reply, you acknowledge they reached you at a good address/number. Just block it/mark as spam, whatever, but don't confirm they reached you.
  3. Ft License Plate Mount - Removable and minimal

Texas has a front plate requirement. Everyone says, nahhh, you won't get pulled over, I've been going for years and never got a ticket. Well, I should by never buy a lotto ticket, as after about 4 months, got pulled over on the drive back from vacation (in Texas)! I blamed it on sand dunes and...
  4. PORTALS! Realities and Tradeoffs

Man, huge thanks for such a detailed write-up! I’ll be honest—I was about two clicks away from ordering a portal kit just so I could look cool at the mall and brag to my buddies that I finally had 'em. :) After reading this, you’ve officially saved me thousands of dollars and a whole lot of...
  5. Ford Performance Tune Install in Texas

The tune included in the Procal 4. You can adjust tires, gears, etc. outside the performance tune
  6. Ford Performance Tune Install in Texas

That was all I did, just adjust it, drive, and adjust until it is accurate. Well, besides the performance part of their tune, :)
  7. Ford Performance Tune Install in Texas

You probably need to tweak the tires rev's per mile (if I remember the setting correctly). I think mine was a little higher than what the manufacturer showed on their site (just an example, they said 850, I had to set to 870 to be spot on with GPS)
  8. What got moved from my rear view mirror?

Or the huge spare tire is a rear window view blocker!
  9. Less engine wear with premium fuel

I think it is actually the opposite, more engine wear with Premium fuel. Mostly because we drive it harder tho.
  10. Soft Top - Rear Panel Separated from Plastic Corner

Would an upholstery shop be able to fix it? I had a different problem with mine, and Ford took it to an upholstery shop to have them fix it. Luckily, it was under warranty at the time.
  11. A Winch Would've Been Nice 🤣

You could use the old flip flop winch! I saw this a few years ago and totally forgot about it until now
  12. A Winch Would've Been Nice 🤣

Cheap option, easy to carry, but of course manual labor is involved. You can winch yourself backwards if needed. Of course there is the inherent danger of standing right next to the tension on the rope (get blue Amsteel rope), but used safely it can be a great tool to add to the arsenal...
  13. Messed with the 2026 Build & Price… man the colors are boring

Yeah, they really do need some bright colors. I liked my 2001 zinc yellow Mustang, or my 2013 "Gotta Have it Green" Mustang. Always easy to find in a parking lot!
  14. How Do You Define Off-Roading?

I've accidentally gone off road while texting and driving. Went about 100 feet on a sidewalk, and a little into a yard once. Does that count?
  15. Map light LED replacement?

I have this on mine, helps a lot, and can be replaced or upgraded easily.
  16. Sell to Dealer or Private?

Wait, no rear seat, is that what I read on the Goose Gear full rear seat delete + drawer system? If so, I would at least remove that and add the rear seats, then still private sell it. Dealer will go by "book value", won't give a cent for any upgrades. But when they sell it, they will ask for...
  17. Long Range Fuel Tank 30 gallons ordered [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

So since we are not 100% sure on the DTE calculation, I say carry a gallon of fuel, run it till it dies, then see how close it was. Add that gallon, and go to the nearest station to add the other 29 gallons. Report back with your findings. :)
  18. My cheap DIY door storage!

I've seen where someone used those wood furniture dollies and PVC pipe and built something similar.
