  1. Broncos are a blast in the Snow!

Where there's snow there's salt, fuck that!!
  2. Bilstein 5100 adjustable lift shocks installed. Before & after pics (updated with Wildtrak tires & wheels)

I've been running the 5100 on the #2 groove for over a year now and like it a lot. It gave about an 1.7" lift in the front and 1.5 lift in the rear so vehicle is level now. I worry about too much lift causing problems with CV's and rack, plus way too many Broncos out there with big lifts and big...
  3. Bilstein 5100 adjustable lift shocks installed. Before & after pics (updated with Wildtrak tires & wheels)

Your going to put the circlip in the second from the bottom groove.
  4. Best location for Bronco script?

I'd say our local club about 90% are running the script now. Just looks tacky, IMO.
  5. Best location for Bronco script?

Ditch the script, looked good the first couple times I saw people do it, now everyone does it and half the time it's crooked!😅
  6. MBRP 2.3 exhaust claims 12hp...?

I will check it out! I know the ones I have heard were terrible, it would be nice to find one I like.
  7. MBRP 2.3 exhaust claims 12hp...?

The drone and cackle of these aftermarket exhausts wouldn't be worth the HP gains that you wouldn't notice anyway IMO! I've heard several of my friends 2.3 and 2.7's with aftermarket exhausts and all have a drone at certain RPM's and cackle at higher rev's. I wish I could find an exhaust that...
  8. What’s the most bulletproof bronco build you can get?

Ford got it right in 1966, a Bronco is 2 door only, now the flex on the other hand.
  9. What’s the most bulletproof bronco build you can get?

That's not a Bronco, only 2 doors are Broncos! That's a Flex with big tires!😜
  10. What’s the most bulletproof bronco build you can get?

I think he's talking in jest.
  11. What’s the most bulletproof bronco build you can get?

I think your spot on with the BD 2.3! Plus don't get a ridiculous lift, stay at 2" or less and don't go over 33" tires and you should be good!
  12. Upgrade Black Diamond or 2024 Heritage/Badlands

I have a non Sas Black Diamond running 33" KO2'S on the stock steel rims with Bilstein 5100 shocks with Walker sway bar links. I'm very happy with the off-road ability of this setup! I have no desire to go to 35" or larger tires, I believe in function over fashion!
  13. NOW AVAILABLE: BOSS "Walker Link" Sway Bar Shock System - Great alternative to disconnects!

I've been running the Walker Links for about 4 months now, and both me and my wife agree that the front suspension has a looser feel on the road, nothing bad but you definitely can feel the difference. On the trail the front suspension definitely flexes more.
  14. I have a 2023 2.3L 10 speed transmission and get 17.3 MPG?

On my trip to Colorado Super Cell on I-80 my 2 door Black Diamond 2.3 auto with 33" k02 averaged 20 mpg. One tank I filled up with in Nebraska I had to get 87 octane with 10% alcohol, they didn't have 91 or 93, my milage fell to 17 mpg. Milage really suffers when I get over 70. Here at home my...
  15. Capable Bumper Brush Guard Options?

I don't think there are any good solutions with the Capable bumper. It's way ugly, looks like bumpers that come on wrangler. I've been looking to upgrade, just can't figure out what I want.
  16. 205,000 miles on 2.7 first generation

Nice job of dragging in Mazda, Buick and Supra when topic was about 2.7 Eco Boost longevity. I like my 2 Broncos, I'm just not a fan of turbo engines, would much rather have a 5.0 but that's not possible so it is what it is. You have a nice day!
  17. 205,000 miles on 2.7 first generation

Still won't be as reliable or last as long, sorry.
  18. 205,000 miles on 2.7 first generation

Well there's no way we will ever settle this, I believe 99% of Eco Boosts will never see 200k and you believe they are indestructible, no problem!
