@MnLakeBum I noticed that the Wildpeaks (in 285/70/17) are about 12 pounds heavier than a KO2. I know yours are even bigger than what I'm going to get. Did you have to reinforce your tailgate or has the new tires put too much weight on it? With the wild peak 63lbs and the stock BB rim I think...
I have a Big Bend non-sas auto. It has been an absolute joy to drive in the snow. It’s turns drive in snow to be fun versus being stressful in other vehicles. Drive for the conditions and know when to use 4H.
I found the Falken Wildpeaks A/T3W LT285/70/17 C rated on Amazon for $250 also. I'm leaning this way for that price and some of the snow driving reviews I've read/watched.
Anyone else have this specific tire on their Big Bend...

Those look great! What size are they? Did you experience any rubbing or needed to remove your crash bars? I think I should be getting C load rating, just seeing if I could save some cash.
I did just find these Falken Wildpeak A/T3W LT285/70R17 116Q C1 BSW CM on Discount Tire for only $250 per...
Hello. I’m a tire newbie and hoping the forum could help check my research and provide advice. Also by me sharing this it might help someone on a similar path searching the forum.
Here is my situation:
Bought a Bronco off the lot in April 2022 with the plan to place an order for a Badlands...
I matched my windows to the rear windows which is also illegal to go that dark in Minnesota.
I really like it but it does make it harder to see at night. My wife does not like it at all.
Hey all,
I've been enjoying snow driving with all these big snow storms we've had! But I am also ready for warmer weather.
This year I want to learn more about Off-Roading so I signed up for the Iron Range Off-road class. Check out the link here: https://ironrangeoffroad.com/ I'll be attending...
What type of noise does it make? I have been hearing a new noise in the back of mine. I feel like the best way to describe the sound is a bunch of folding camping chairs rattling around together over bigger bumps.
The OP question made me laugh, in a good way. We have quite the reputation up here in MN. I’ve never had my car not start as a result of the cold. Glad you’re coming up in the cold months, scares too many people off. There are lots of fun things to do in the winter.
I put stripe decals on mine and love the look. I also did it knowing I’d likely need to “refresh” it years down the road and I’m ok with that.
If you think you’ll like the look of the decals years from now I say go for it. I think it really completes the look I was going for.
