We are debating here a nominal, insignificant issue regarding "poke". We're talking a very negligible amount! I think what most folks want to avoid is a LARGE margin of poke, as seen in the following photo . . . you will NOT get this with 0 offset on SAS, it is VERY negligible and not noticed...
Mounted on-center the .5 inch difference is split, so increase of poke would be .25 inch . . . NOT noticeable in my opinion. Here is another photo from a poster who mounted 8.5 width tires and 0 offset on SAS.
Ah yes, that now makes sense. I thought you were misinformed but I can see now that you are not . . . simple mistaken identity between SAS/Non-SAS. I concur that 0 offset would look different in a non-SAS context.
Wait a minute . . . did you see the photo? Doesn't that 0 offset look "even with the edge of the Sasquatch flares"? I am trying to help OP with information, and I want to be sure that we are not feeding inaccuracies which is why I shared the photo from a previous poster who even said verbatim...
The poster who said it "looks like shi#" is obviously just expressing his opinion. To each his own. I think 0 offset looks great and am going with 0 offset myself (Badlands/SAS).
As far as poke goes, theoretically you get a little poke comparatively speaking, but there are threads here if...
0 offset is fine . . . several others have posted here on B6g using Method wheels with 0 offset, with photos and it looks fine as well as works fine. In fact, the Method 701's require 0 offset, and several folks have opted for them.
Sorry, I don't have an Instagram account, but I will look for your activity here on B6G to see any updates you have. I assume that if you come up with a design or two with USA/Flag/Bronco, etc. you will want to post it here anyway . . . thank you!
You have a TON of great designs! The poster who brought up the American Flag I think is on to something. Many of us are interested in "Americana" designs . . . and not with a heart. Just stars and stripes . . . with maybe an eagle head/wings or something like that, or furling flag . . . but...
There is a little supplement booklet to the Owner's Manual of the 2022 Bronco that states, among many other things, that the TPMS system was only designed to work with the Ford OE Wheels. It goes on to say that only wheels approved by Ford should ever be used (which of course we would expect...
Anyone have any issues with TPMS working properly when replacing OE wheels with aftermarket? I am about to dive into a set of Method 701's and am wondering if I need to tell the vendor anything about preserving TPMS capability so that I can continue to monitor pressure on screen.
Could it be the fuel pump? There are a few threads out there with folks getting caught out on the trail with a dead Bronco due to the fuel pump. They reported the engine running rough and spotty before eventually dying. Diagnosis was faulty fuel pump.
You did the right thing just driving away . . . seems like all across the country there is so much angst among young people . . . you never know if he is on something or even the possibility of mental health issues. Whatever the case , it is not worth trying to challenge someone, or even say...
