A wash is about right. Pay less per gallon of gas and get less MPG. Pay more and get a few more MPG. Though there are a few more benefits to running Premium.
Hey, did you ever find a buyer for the license plate bracket? I wasn't planning on running one until I had to : ) But I guess I should get one...I'm in Golden Valley.
When I get a text, and I'm on the Audio page, I get no alerts on that page. Have to switch to Android page and then hit the "read aloud" button or whatever. Why can't I get an alert ANYWHERE in ANY YMMV though I guess :)
I figure they have the seat ALL the way up. Like head on the roof type...
Quirks/complaints:
1. Wish rear cargo floor was flat.
2. Android Auto just kinda sucks and feels useless to me(Never used it before this FYI) Text alerts are only viewable on the Android Auto tab, not whichever screen you're on, making it even more hands on. Straight Bluetooth works great...
Brakes are mushy? Never driven a 5th gen 4Runner I see. Good Lord that thing was hard to brake and it nosedived like drunk college kid. Bronco brakes are a HUGE upgrade from that.
I saw no advantage to running Android auto, didn't like it. I uninstalled it, turned off the prompt. I just merely use Bluetooth now like any other head unit for calls and messages. Much happier now.
No kids, just her loading the back. So far I'm leaning towards it not being fully disengaged and then it locking when she attempted to shut it. So weird.
Anyone know how the tailgate locking mechanism can be engaged when the tailgate is open? Wife called and it wouldn't disengage for her meaning that the tailgate would not shut. Had to be tied shut to get home. See the pic. FYI the fix was to use the handle and open the tailgate like normal...
