Possibly. Used to work just fine. Unsure of the root cause, but posting here is certainly useful and helpful, whether it's sync or my phone. Also no way for my phone to just read me one of my messages. Does Apple do that?
It sucks because it'll work for a bit and then take a crap while driving. Going to maybe hard reset the head unit later, again. Hopefully it's software related and not a hardware issue. Fingers crossed.
Came here looking for a remedy to my USB drive not showing up. I've been using a 128GB USB thumb drive since day one, Nov 4 2021, and suddenly it'll stop recognizing the drive, nothing in the list. The search continues...
I found that engaging the clutch makes the noise go away. YMMV of course. I've also read of a few users who had their tranny replaced only for the noise to come back.
Seems like after the latest SYNC update that my temps are displaying WAAAYYYY above normal. It's about 30 F in MN today yet my display says 135! It'll start at like mid-90's and climb reaching a max of above 130 in about a minute or so. Works correctly *sometimes*.
Any thoughts? Just reset...
Just got the latest OTA update to Sync on my 12" screen and whenever I receive an SMS and I choose to 'Hear it' it reads *the entire* message, including the timestamp, all phone numbers in the to and from, all punctuation and THEN the message. Previous to this update it would read just the new...
I have the noise and it goes away when the clutch is engaged. Try it. FYI I've had the noise since the first week, going on 15K now.
Again, its the clutch, that's why your replacement tranny does nothing.
My 21 has this noise, always has. Up to 14.5K miles. Built in Oct 21. I have had zero issues other than the noise. After reading on the forums last week I tried to pinpoint the noise and have deduced that: 1. It's only happening when cold, like 30F or below. 2. It goes away when I push...
Paying 50 cents or a 1.00 more for Premium negates your better mileage. Pay less with 87 and call it even. It's a wash. FYI I get 20.5 MPG running 87 on my 2.3L MT.
I'll note that there was a LOT of reception lost when I installed the Cravenspeed stubby. So much so that I went back to stock. Around your metro you may be fine but once you get away from a decent signal FM radio drops off fast. YMMV of course.
It's pretty easy. When removing the 3 expansion screws just pry them out gently. May need to bend back metal tabs they sit on since prying on them may flex them. And then get two new expansion screws from an auto parts store. Super simple install otherwise. Oh and I found that turning the...
