Thanks! EG wouldn't have been my 1st choice either, until I saw this rendering on this forum, then I knew I had to have it!
Agreed on YouTube idiots acting stupid on trails. Was researching the ride we're going to this weekend and found a bunch of spoiled kids, all in Toyota's and Lexus's...
I'm not sure? He and his wife had almost matching Bronco's, both 4dr and White, she had purple accents, but much nicer wheels and hers was a WT. She had very loud, obnoxious music blasting out of some aftermarket speakers. He had red accents, those awful wheels and his was a BD. In my...
I was going for the 1st gen look on mine, which is another reason I went with that bumper :) No spacers. Wheels have 0mm OS and 4.75" BS. I did the JKS Max Tire Clearance mod as well, just to clear my 37's! Tires are standard 12.50" wide. I have much shorter flares though.
Wife has same...
Yes, I hate those wheels! Even his wife hates them! He said he loves them, but I say hell no! I told him, if you do a lot of off-roading, you won't have them much longer, LOL!
I like old Bronco's, just not that body style, per say! He struggled to keep up with the rest of us and had an awful time with the carb on that thing... Every time we stopped, he had the hood up and all you smelled was raw fuel or burnt fuel, depending on where we stopped. He would drive...
Thanks man! I dunno why people always say something about my bumper, LOL!
Side story incoming: I got it, because I saw an LoD ad on Facebook when I had my Jeep and said to myself, "Wow, those look like solid/capable bumpers!" So, when I got the Bronco, that was one of the first things I...
Negative!
Warning, short rant incoming: We're not the type of people for doing that kind of driving/riding, we have the money, but I don't want to repair something that would've been fine, if not doing something stupid, if/when the Bronco's break. Most of our money went into buying both...
Wasn't sure where to post this at, but this area looked correct?
A couple weekends ago, my wife and I finally got to take both Broncos off-roading. She wanted to start off easy, so we meet up with some folks from the local Bronco group and went riding. Nothing too crazy, couple of nice water...
@Nickyweg Just FYI, my '21 Crew Cab Ranger had the 2.3 and had plenty of power. It had even more power, after I got it tuned! Although, when I wanted the Bronco, I wanted the 2.7 and on a recent offroading trip, I didn't realize, until that day, that they were so close in power
Despite...
My wife found these auto-on/off under hood LED kits, so I bought a pair of them and will hopefully get them installed in a couple weekends?
I also finally painted the Mirror Covers I ordered months ago, April/May, (I think?), Gloss White to go on her Bronco. Going to let them dry and see if...
Monday afternoon, I got some more stuff from Metalcloak!
@Metalcloak also came through yesterday! Got home super late and my missing fuel tank skid bracket was sitting on my front deck!
When I got home from work today, I finished installing the Fuel Tank Skids to complete my...
Unsure if you're using the app for it, but for some reason, when I upgraded my phone, I can no longer log into the app, Update Agent 1.0? The Bluetooth remote thingy still works, but if I can't use the app for the other features, this thing isn't worth the cost anymore.... Contacted...
I love to see @Metalcloak stuff on other peoples rigs :) Their products are really nice, despite the price! I know you got your parts for free, but I had to buy mine. I had all their suspension/skids on my old '17 Jeep Rubicon too.
I just installed my Undercloak this weekend as well. They...
Saturday night, I installed my ARB Jack mount by Slee Off-Road.
I figured the best place for it was on the front of my newly built storage box :)
I rearranged the stuff in each box and had to move one of my MOLLE medical bags to the rear on the Bronco, to make room for the ARB Jack :/
Saturday morning, I started installing my Metalcloak Undercloak Skid Plates...
Metalcloak apparently forgot to pack an important bracket/hanger in all those boxes...., as I was missing the outer bracket to installed the Fuel Tank Skid Plates... Hopefully, they'll get me the missing bracket...
Late Friday morning, I went out back and removed the rear upper control arm.
I bought a 6 pack of PROTO Reversible Snap Ring Pliers and hopefully fixed it from popping out again?
