Thanks. I thought I had a pic of what I did with the belts? I hid the receivers underneath the OEM rubber mat and I hid the shoulder straps behind the rear quarter hard plastic pieces.
I'm late to this topic, but I traded in my 2dr JK Rubicon, which had brand new 37's on it, that I didn't want to just give away, so I stuck them on my Bronco not long after owning it. That's the only reason I put 37's on mine. ;)
I'm running the stock 2.0 rack, but someone on this forum...
That's the company that I was talking about making the solid Billet racks for something like $4k... As long as I don't have to take the steering shaft loose or remove the rack, I might look into this on mine next year?
OK, I wasn't sure if you had already broken it or something, but looks like you didn't. I've seen pics like these before and one of the companies that makes solid Billet replacement racks said that all of those pics are either hardcore racers or if your front tire got wedged into a rock and you...
@raqball Sorry for the ignorant question, but might I ask why you went with all the aftermarket/upgraded steering rack parts? All I did on my rack were the Delrin bushings on the ends of the rack and huge HD inner/outer tie rods, to run my 37's.
From my understanding, only the upgraded...
Noooooo, I even said my rant was not directed towards you, LOL! That one guy laughed at the pic you posted, that's what pissed me off! I'm just the type of person that cannot understand why people get so upset for something someone else did to their vehicles.... People used to be better than...
I had met him the day before, at a local Bronco meet & greet thingy.
When he sent me a FB message after the meet, I tried to be nice and tell him, that's not what you want, when offroading. He said they were on it when he bought it, (which was correct), but I told him, I would've swapped...
That's crazy, I love Metalcloak stuff, except their bumpers/rock rails, LOL! I have everything MC sells on my Bronco, except their bumpers/rail, haha! Not making fun of them, I just haven't seen them on a Bronco, other than the ones on their site :) They do make some amazing products though...
@Mike T It's your personal preference on bumpers, don't let anyone on here say anything differently. If you like it and it's something you can live with for a while, buy it. If you're not going to lift it or go serious offroading, you might not need anything like what both my wife and I have...
I don't know if he or she even knows you're supposed to air down before offroading...? I asked the lead Raptor guy and he said, we don't have time to air down and you really won't need it here... I disagreed, the ride would have been much smoother, would've had better traction even if it was...
Listen bud, I didn't sign up for anything. It was supposed to originally be my wife, the Raptor and I riding, but the Raptor guy felt guilty for not inviting others... And until we met up with him the next day, we had no clue about the "others" that showed up, so, no, we did not "sign up" for...
Thank you!
You are correct, I did not tell the dude and his wife anything negative about offroading. That was mine and my wife's conversation after we got home...
The trail leader was a nice guy, but wasn't good at leading and I never lead somewhere that I've never been too. If my wife...
Poor attitude? So sue me! They can go do whatever they want too, I don't care! I just don't want to ride with them again, considering what he told his wife to do, then ran off and left her on that obstacle.... They both didn't wait for anyone, music too loud to communicate.
You don't know...
No, neither of ours has the OEM wheels anymore. We have Fifteen52's Analog HD's 17x8.5, 0mm OS, 4.75" BS.
My Bronco has 37x12.50x17 Baja Boss MT's
Wife's has 35x12.50x17 Baja Boss MT's
She has the stock SAS lift and doesn't rub at all, on or offroad
I have the stock SAS lift, plus an...
Yea, I kinda hope they stick to the streets/mall. He asked me after the ride about my wife's front bumper. I gave him all the info about it. I said, it was a pain to install. He then said, oh, I didn't think about that, I don't have tools, I'll guess I'll have to find someone to install...
