(a) The pneumatic tire is designed to be held against the inside rim dimensions via it's internal air pressure, therefore the stated manufacturer width dimensions are stated / measured to the inside surfaces of the rim that mate to the tire bead, therefore any measurement to the outside is...
External ring beadlocks required routine maintenance to insure all of the ring retaining bolts are torqued to spec as the bolts will loosen due the tire flexing during driving, in addition you'll have to be constantly checking the air pressure as they will lose air pressure at a much higher rate...
If anyone wants to see pictures of the 2.7L kit contents and installation instructions, they are posted in another thread, refer to the thread started back in Sept, link below. Looks to be about a 10 min easy install, kit appears to be well made. If anyone wants other pictures of the kit, please...
Realize lots of opinions on this subject, was reading the thread
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/35%E2%80%9D-tires-street-legal.2524/
and a quote from the thread,
While not a lawyer, here's some insight from research I have done over the last several months since deciding to buy...
Was 10/4 week, had e-mail 9/1 moved to 10/25. Was able to pull WS a few minutes ago via the B6G tracker. 10/26 blend date. No movement on pizza tracker. BL w/ soft top
Dusty,
Thanks for the reply, already knew US DOT doesn't approve any items, they just set standards that manufacturers are supposed to meet as you stated. Point of asking the question was to bring light to the subject as wheel manufacturers use various phrasing to imply that the are approved by...
definitely found the weak link, also clear case of YT/TT wannabe looking for their 15 mins of fame or shame as it maybe. Good luck with the warranty claim once Ford pulls the "id ten t" code from the computer.
As to temp field repairs this is a good reason to carry some short pieces of angle...
Here's more info about this bumper, however not a fan of front mounted steel monuments, it's heavy at 172 lbs., shows to be backordered

Frank,
Please reach out to RC and ask them provide a short video that shows how one would "just reach under the bumper" to operate the brake release clutch lever as was stated by in post by "Teewsda". From the pictures in your original post and the installation instructions the winch clutch...
it's a practical solution, however a word of caution with this approach, as its been advised in other winch threads on the forum, make sure that 100 plus pound projectile is very securely tied down as if you roll the vehicle you don't want it flying around and killing someone in the vehicle...
No sticker by this morning, visited dealer today, was 10/4 week build, now 10/25, after arriving home checked e-mail there was one from Ford also stating moved to 10/25
Lots of pros and cons in the thread, interesting solution but it has one major Achilles' heel that a couple of people touched on, how to operate the clutch release. Unless you have some way to operate the winch clutch remotely via mechanically, electrical or air means, would recommend a pass on...
catch cans are a very debatable subject, lots of pros and cons, do your own research and remember you can't believe everything you see and read whether it's positive or negative about the subject.
I don't see why it should set any codes, unless it isn't maintained and emptied as needed, will update after installation if it causes codes to be set.
show me a company that's been in business for a while, that doesn't have it's supporters and detractors, my personal opinion of UPR and their product at this point in time is neutral pending installation and testing.
Case in point, all that someone has to do is read the posts on the Bronco6G...
