So, Ford Performance chat had my build day of 11/4, I assume thatās the āblend dateā? If true, Iād assume my maroney label would come in the next day or two.
I had the same dilema as the OP. I ended up going for a OBX, lux, leather and 4A.
The 4A was a big part of my decision as being my wifeās primary vehicle, we didnāt want to put it on and out of 4x4 mode when it snows. I liked it for the lower gearing and locking rear diff for when we get into...
Sorry that happened to you.
Yes, itās a gut punch because youāve been waiting for so long, but as someone who has experience in this, the repair isnāt as big of a deal as it would seem.
1.) replace windshield with an OEM Ford glass
2.) replace section of MIC top with a new section
3.)...
Not for nothing, but I think the Better Business Bureau is completely irrelevant nowadays.
Social media and Google carry more weight in the court of public opinion.
There was a guy a couple weeks back that was buying from a dealer in the DFW area, and that dealer got hit with more than 100 1 star reviews and I believe they caved and took off their ADM for that customer.
I guess it can work, if the store cares about its reputation.
Here we go againā¦sorry to hear about this.
Get an order in at Granger for below invoice, and you will see it in 2025. Sorry, I couldnāt help myself in light of other recent events.
Last time this was a major topic here, the dealer got blasted with hundreds of Google reviews and the guy got...
That reservation to allocation process was changed a year ago. If you were under the impression today that the process was supposed to be that way, thatās on you.
Listen, I feel for the reservation holders that purchased from smaller dealers. I get it. I wouldnāt be happy either. However...
Finally, someone answered the question because honestly I didnāt know. My questions werenāt out of sarcasm.
If you knew the line was long, then you have to wait. I donāt see why many have a problem with that. If you knew, still did the deal, then fine. I have no issue with that.
However...
I read they have 800+ reservations. That means even if they got double the allocation for 2022, there are STILL hundreds pushed out to 2023 or longer.
I would never place an order with them if I was told this in advance. That begs the question, did they tell people that?
Ok, so if Iām a big dealer, how is it ok for me to get penalized on my earned allocation because smaller dealers that outsold their fair share have to get their reservations first? No fāing way Iād be ok with that.
Any way you look at it, someone is getting burnt.
In regards to reservations...
How many Broncos were allocated off the bat to Granger when the orders started? Thatās the million dollar question. There HAD to be allocation methodology, which factored in reservations. No way dealers were given guaranteed unlimited reservations. There has to be a number they knew they would get.
