Setting aside for a moment whether or not other manufacturers provide such safety information, most of the well-known dominant manufacturers in this sector, such as ORF, Poison Spyder, Fab Fours, etc, have been building and selling winch bumpers in the US market for a long time and are based in...
@BronchoPeat 's wood cart got me looking for something similar but pre-fabbed using a metal frame. Found this cart that has solid dimensions and I think with a couple cross bars added for bracing the uprights would be more stable laterally. You could hang the door bags on the crossbars on the...
Nice work. I'd be interested in seeing the structural specs. Gauge of steel being used, type of steel, weld specs, and internal strengthening used. Would also want to see some lab testing of the strength and integrity. With a big winch on it doing some heavy pulling...last thing you want is...
Great pictures (except for the one with the Bronco Sport in it...must have slipped in behind a real Bronco hidden in the shadow). Really cool to see so many and the personal touches put on them. Thanks for sharing
The three main contenders in no particular order are:
RekGen
Rokblokz
Gatorbacks from Ford Accessories (or SharpTrucks.com for less $ with no branding)
Each have their respective pros and cons, including price variances. There are some other options out there but most others involve some...
I will say I really like Ford's design for the Bronco top with it being 4 pieces. So much simpler to take off than my Jeep, especially when you get to the rear shell. It's not that the Jeep rear shell is hard to take off but that the Jeep rear shell is just unwieldy and awkward with the big...
Thanks. Didn't realize that; had been thinking there was some correlation to number and build time. Mine is 3308 of 3531 and was built in November 2021. In any event, it's an odd thing to see your rig is 1 of small number for that specified design.
Although getting far astray from the topic of the fog light switch in this thread, if you are looking to turn off the seatbelt reminder for specific seats, there are ways to do that using Forscan and also shortcut ways to do it outside of Forscan...
It would have been an interesting approach for Ford to have included the throwback letter badging but included with it the model designation such as Badlands, First Edition, OBX, Wildtrak, Everglades, Raptor, etc. Pay homage to its roots but acknowledge the new model designations
Yes, should not be a problem to have all of your planned backlight wiring connected to a single aux uplifter switch. I presume all LED backlighting so power draw should be within parameters of any of the uplifters.
Looks like you have a volunteer above to donate an unused end cap. That's what makes this forum/community so awesome. If it doesn't work out, you can clean that end cap up and repaint it with the factory color. Touch Up Direct carries the Carbonized Gray used on the bumpers. It's color code...
Our Jeep Wrangler and our Bronco get along quite well in the same driveway. No bickering, no tire slashing between them. I am getting a hint of resentment from the Jeep lately though since the Bronco tends to get driven more.
Ford is replacing them under a service bulletin. More info in this other thread. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/rusting-grab-handle-bolts-ford-ssm-50660.41207/
