I called RekGen's support line and he told me the the front XLs are 4" longer than the Standard size. Standard are a total of 14.5" and XL are 18.5". Don't where he measured from but assume longest vertical points.
Thanks. Now you got me going to out to check mine. Also, a Nov 2021 build.
Agree Ford needs to issue a TSB on this. The 3rd party oil change places are going to be puzzled when they pull computer spec info saying 7 qts, add that, and then read the dipstick as most places do after completing...
Definitely worth calling your agent or insurance company. Sooner the better so they can look at it before repairs are done. Probably falls under the comprehensive property damage coverage section. "...sir, there was some debris in my way that my tire hit and it went up under my Bronco and...
You could try to negotiate him down as far as possible for the winch without labor-install (maybe slightly above cost or at least 15% off since can get that discount on Ford Accessories website), have them put the box in the back and resell it to someone else. Might take a few hundred dollar...
I used USPS to ship them back using the box they came in from Rokblokz. It was only $19. UPS ground was more than twice that amount.
It's disappointing Rokblokz is charging the 10% restocking fee for a product that does not fit quite right for SAS, especially when you send them back unopened.
I have seen a few posts in threads about the orange cord on the passenger side on some models, which makes me think it's intentional...or these all came off the same line on the same day with the same line guy on crack putting orange cord in that location.
I've read some members report there are some dealers in DFW that have been selling at MSRP (usually to reservation holders but thought I read some who walked in). You might talk with some of them and explain what happened to your order. It's probably a long shot, but even if another dealer...
I sent my Rokblokz back and received a partial refund. Too expensive for such a product where so many users are having fitment issues. I took a 10% hit for the return and didn't like that given these things have design issues that need refining and are not quite ready for the marketplace, but...
I went with and ordered a set of the RekGen trophy sport flaps for the front ($90) after giving up on and sending back the Rokblokz flaps. Those Rokblokz things things were an expensive mess.
JCR is indicating it has redesigned the 2-door version to be a no-drill application.

JCR Off Road has one they are apparently about to release that is specific to the 2-door top issues. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/jcroffroad-roof-racks-are-here.42501/page-2#post-1395725
An alternative to the roof rack could be a cargo basket for the trailer hitch.
Those who have the factory rock rails and the RekGen flaps, can you measure and post how many inches the bottom of the flap comes below the bottom of the rock rail?
Had the exact same message a couple days ago and then again last night. In both instances, the Bronco had been driven within 12 hours before so battery should have been fine, and it met none of the typical pre-set conditions to cause this. I'm wondering if it might be caused by some bad code...
Looks nice, much cleaner fit, and how you'd expect them to look from the get-go, but that looks like a fair amount of custom work to get something pricey to fit cleanly. Really glad I sent mine back.
Don't let the "Walkman" nomenclature mislead you. It plays high res digital files in a lossless format. Think no to minimal digital compression. It is light years ahead of playing analog music off of magnetic media. (But 8-tracks still rock just wish Sony had a walkman version of the 8-track...
