The bottom of the glass has to be cut on an angle so that when the window is fully rolled down it doesn't stick up at all. Unfortunately, this means when it is fully rolled up there would be a hole so that plastic piece is there to cover it.
All a delivery date will tell me is how I need to manage my move and car situation. If it’s Q3 of 2021, I can ditch my Jeep and make it work. But if it’s Q4 or later, I need to consider hanging on to it for longer or selling while prices are high in the summer and get a beater to tide me over...
I wonder if I can get a bracket for just the squadrons to be tucked up in the corner tight on the modular bumper. I don’t need the extra lighting and I want to be able to remove the end caps and still get some extra clearance.
If not, I am sure I can build something! Stuff looks good!
The big 14.1 scared me for a second. Glad you clarified it was a Canadian sticker! I definitely wouldn’t have looked close enough to notice.
Gas mileage is obviously not a huge concern or I wouldn’t be buying a Bronco, but if it went from hearing and seeing 17 posted everywhere to 14 I would...
I’ve had enough coffee to stay positive for the time being… we will see how long that lasts.
I feel like this thread is going to blow up if we don’t get the “May update.”
Not sure if you figured it out or I could see it because I’m on an iPhone, but it’s pretty neat! Would have liked someone to explain how it helps keep water out, though.
Looks like with regular airflow it doesn’t move, and then if there is the weight of water it drops like a trapped door and...
Weight and material cost. Every ounce helps!
Seems kind of sketchy for an off-road vehicle, but nothing a good skid/bash plate can't fix. I believe the factory bash plate completely protects the oil pan. I also think I read a while back there are metal aftermarket replacements available and...
If I remember correctly, one of the biggest gripes with the plastic pans is that if you aren't careful removing the drain plug, they need to be replaced every other oil change.
I am not familiar with these drain plugs, or really with plastic oil pans, but it looks like you don't need to fully...
I haven't read through the thread yet, but Jeep plans to offer 35's stock for 2022. A good family friend and neighbor is a Stellantis engineer and whenever we're having a few beers I poke him about the Bronco. He used to say, "it's no Jeep! We're not worried!" but he is much quieter as it gets...
I am seriously impressed with the Shadow Black! First time I have liked it on the Bronco!
Also the first time I have really liked the black mirrors, body colored door handles, and cloth interior! I would totally drive this one… but I might swap grilles with a badlands because I think the gray...
Well, I know Ford is onboarding some new software at the moment to manage deployments. So maybe this is why we have been seeing changes and things are getting funky?
Personally, I think it’s a step in the right direction as I have had less issues with the site overall, and I had no issues...
Thanks! I saw RhinoB respond with the video yesterday. Pretty neat and I like the idea of it, but not necessary for me right now.
Curious how many fasteners will be required for the Bronco and where they will be located on each panel. I am not sure I like where they are all located on the Jeep...
We can't be certain, but I would plan on at least this time next year. Maybe a little earlier if you're lucky, maybe a little later if you aren't. It's anyone's guess at this point.
I like the new color, but it's not what I am looking for. I wish Cyber Orange always looked super orange like that and in the pictures I took of it. You have to be okay with it looking yellow sometimes and the shade it turns just isn't right for me. Twister Orange or Jeep's Nacho would have been...
Just joined the F150 Gen14 forum and found the targeted range with extended battery to be 300 miles. I could totally live with that, but the problem for me is range while towing an 8,000lb boat. Probably not 300 miles.
Looking forward to official numbers!
Well, I was pleasantly surprised by the starting price! I put a reservation in for my Dad because he was looking at a new truck around 2024 and I figured that four hours after reveal is probably timed about right!
I think it's a good looking truck, but nothing blew me away. I also didn't watch...
I have left my soft top on in Michigan past Thanksgiving and it was fine. The biggest thing is you need to clear snow off the top as soon as possible because they aren’t meant to have all that weight, but a few inches over night is fine.
Also, salt will dry up your vinyl windows so make sure...
