You mention that you have a reservation, but that you ordered directly with dealer. Did you convert that reservation into an order? If not, everything above is correct. If you did convert your reservation into an order, then you should be able to see things on your ford.com account. That would...
The Ford.com FAQ linked above still says no X plan for MY22 Broncos...any dealer that's offering it is just making a deal on their own and eating the difference.
Unfortunately I can't recall where, but somewhere along the way I read that 50% of those 160K reservations happened in the first week after the unveil in July 2020. And 120k converted, and they sold 35k Broncos in 2021. Well, there's a ways to go.
Did you also re-order a MY22 in October? I've done the same, and mine still says Ordering with Dealer and shows the original order date in March 21 and not the date I re-ordered a MY22 in October. I don't think you see anything else until it's actually selected for production.
I am not an authority on this, but after reading this forum 17 times a day for the past 1.5 years, I am reasonably certain you can not link them. If you ordered in-person from the dealer, you're at their mercy for details until you have a VIN and it's in production.
Those of us who used the...
When I asked my salesguy while re-ordering for 22 (yes I know, my dealer said) he said it would come off the sale price and the dealership would be getting the "certificate". Which makes more sense if the letter we've seen was sent to dealers and not us end buyers. But who knows, and apparently...
I reserved in July 2020 and ordered that same build in March of 2021 and re-ordered in October at a pretty large dealer. I still don't have a build date. So who can say! Like everyone else has said...it mostly depends on your dealer's allocation at this point.
Good to hear it's more comfortable. I've only had a brief test drive in a Bronco. I've owned three Wranglers over the past 25 years. I really do like how it feels to drive them, even on the highway. I'm really just ready for a change. I love the look of the Bronco, but I'm not afraid to drive...
It's even listed on the updated backdoor link now.
My dealer also required a 1k deposit. They had so many orders I had to wait until March to be able to get to a salesperson. It's a pretty large dealer. They have noted that I have already made an $1100 payment in writing and promised MSRP.
After having to switch my order in October to a new color, my preview image still shows AMB. So if that shows up some time in 2022, I won't be disappointed. It's a bit of a tease though.
Did you use Ford's online reservation system when it existed? If not, you don't have one and can't get one. If you did, you can log into Ford.com and see it under my reservations and orders. If you went to a dealer and ordered with no reservation, you don't have a reservation number. They...
If you put down $100 and made a reservation through the website, you would have received a reservation number. Yes you can see it on Ford.com looking at your orders and reservations. After you converted the reservation to an order at the dealer, people have also been calling that an order...
I think you needed to make a res online and convert to an order to be able to see anything on ford.com. I've read here it doesn't work if you only went through the dealer.
That's awesome. I've only seen these on modular bumpers so far. I'll have to remember this if my Bronco ever shows up :). I would love to see an after install pic please.
Hmm. Did you just zip tie the front plate on rather than screw it into the bumper? I've been debating what I'll do since I have to have to front plate too.
