I have a similar gap as you showed in the red circle. Not sure it caused the moisture. While I repaired my quarter glass, the glass shop gave me some soft black rubberish seal (maybe butyl?) and I just filled the gap.
Again, I don't have a clue whether it is the cause...
Looks similar to what I experienced... Just slightly tab/push the top/bottom edge of quarter glass. If you find it 'pop' out, it is.
Just sent you a link about what I mean...
For this, can you do a test? Put a paper between the targa and weatherstrip seal. Put the targa on and see how hard it is to pull the paper out? If it is too easy, you may want to tighten the hatch (don't overtighten them though) This is what Cold told me about this using a 1 dollar bill.
BTW...
The Ford Chinese RD team designs some of the interior/features later than the US launch so you don't have it. The console uses a better chip (Good thing it is a US chip) than the US version so it can support more features.
The US manufacturer has no motivation to give you the latest...
This is the most confusing part.
You can buy all other products from many dealers, and ADV has good connections with them. I guess that's why no dealers are trashing them here. But I recalled that TCcustom said they refused to sell their hardtop through dealers. He is probably the only one who...
hmm... Interesting. Because I have a Trailrax roof rack and I installed it with the bubble side inward + a lightbar. On the highway, the wind noise is a bit louder above 70+. Not sure if your storage box actually blocks the turbulence.
Not sure if it is an angle thing of your photos, but I thought the bubble side of the windreflector weather stripping should be installed inside to touch the Bronco windshield frame. From your picture, looks like the bubble side is out and you have a gap between the frame and the windreflector...
Not to defend ADV, but they still deliver all the single-layer fiberglass products like hoods, and fenders, right?
They just cannot make a sandwich from two slices :sneaky: Maybe they are short of the fillings
Just installed my DIY headliner. Lol. My first try, lots of trials and errors, not perfect, but enjoy what I learned during the process.
Finally it is a four piece design because I have to take the targa off if I want the front two as one. Interesting that the rear two latches are not...
